great place
This B&B is such a little gem! We called ahead and requested that they hold our bags before check-in, as we had an early morning arrival. They were able to do so, and they held our bags after checkout while we spent our last few hours exploring the city. The staff were so accommodating during our entire stay. Unfortunately due to COVID, we were not able to use the beach chairs, and the happy hour is suspended as well. However, the breakfast was delicious and we were able to borrow beach towels. The décor at the B&B is cute and all interior areas were very clean. There was a mini fridge and TV in our room, and plenty of storage for a short stay. The bed was comfortable as well. The only drawbacks were that our bathroom door did not close properly, and the cushioned seats in the courtyard that are shown in the picture looked like they had mold & water stains on them, so we decided against sitting in that area. These weren't major issues for us though. The B&B is just a few minutes' walk from a few shopping options like Target and Total Wine & More, and a 12-minute walk to the beach and several popular restaurants and shops. We also felt very safe since the property is gated, and a door code is required to access the lobby/main building. The area was quiet outside from the trash pickup one morning, you shouldn't have any issues falling asleep at night. The property and the whole staff is so awesome and friendly, and we would definitely return for our next visit!
It's a charm and I stumbled on to it. The property has 7 units with a nice courtyard and the front yard. The maid cooks and serves breakfast from 8 to 10:30. It was a decent breakfast and I had an omelet and scrambled eggs for 2 days. The bed was a little uncomfortable but the water pressure of shower was good. I slept well on the first night but I couldn’t sleep well on the second night because college girls were talking loud at the courtyard past midnight. The south beach is within a walking distance like 15 minutes. The parking is free but you park cars on the street.
In the heart of Maia I beach and close to restaurants and stores. My warning is not to stay if don’t speak Spanish. While I understand it, I am not fluent in it. This made it difficult to communicate with the day staff as she did not speak English. I spent about 15 minutes listening to a conversation In Spanish where one guest was shame talking about me to the employee for not speaking Spanish. The rooms are small and they do not have sufficient storage for more than a long weekend. The bed was comfortable. The courtyard was a nice place to read or enjoy the weather in the evenings. Breakfast was tasty but you may have line up or take a place in line when things are at full capacity. Overall a decent place for the money. But I might recommend a different hotel if you mind feeling uncomfortable with the language barrier. There were other hotels near by who had comparable pricing closer to the breach. We passed on them because we were not familiar with Miami and read this B&B was in a safe neighborhood. It turns out overall, the area is well policed. The owner should make it clear that Spanish speaking customers are better served here than those who don’t speak the language.
Friendly stuff and free parking, would recommend the place
I liked the location of the place. I did not like the shower because it got water all over the place.
Small, boutique property within walking distance to everything. On Site parking included was a great benefit and savings vs. hotels charging $30 a night. Will be back again next time in Miami!
Pretty good location. Carlos was very friendly n helpful! Walking distance to Lincoln road, about 1 mil, if u like walking for cardio. :)
The property was quiet and private. Felt like home
Excellent location, walking distance to Ocean and the beach, close to Whole Foods and other amenities. Parking is available in the neighborhood.
Wonderful clean b&b with friendly helpful staff. Plentiful street parking with permit. Great breakfast.
Nice clean room. Great memory foam bed. Free Parking, nice breakfast! Nice staff!
Walking distance to beach, grocery, restaurants. Excellent staff!
Nice hotel close to the beach, close to the shopping center and whole green market, parking facility is ok, it is a bed and breakfast boutique hotel and it has only 8 rooms like your home but the rooms are very small, if you have more than 2 luggage you may not find space there is no any chair you should go to the public area if you want to sit. Breakfast was so so. But the price for this area is ok.
Good breakfest Free parking Small room Great staff
