Loved staying at this hotel. Enormous room, even bigger bath, with lots of gorgeous French toiletries. View to the nearby church was lovely, especially lit up at night. Staff very friendly and helpful. A little out of the way of restaurants, but still quite central.

My partner and I booked a king suite to celebrate her birthday and the rooms and decoration and hotel facilities were all fantastic and reflected the standard expected of this 5 star hotel. Check in was made extremely easy for us and the staff members were amiable and willing to help out with any request. The room itself was spacious, clean and the furnishing was well thought out. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. The lighting itself was slightly dim but had plenty of light through the windows in the day. Unfortunately, although I enjoyed my stay there, an event blighted our overall experience. We enjoyed a good 4 nights using the room and numerous hotel facilities. At the end of the trip, we checked out early but left our luggage at the reception, to be collected just before our flight back home. On returning in the evening, we asked for the luggage and were rudely told by the person waiting at the front doors (bellhop?) that we should just walk around the corner and collect the bags ourselves instead of asking him for help. In addition, there were quite a few other bags in that room which we had to navigate through to get our luggage. I'm quite an independent person but I believe this isn't the service we expected from a hotel of this standard. Although it is a standalone incident, I believe having a guest rummage through a room with other guests' luggage is also a breach of security that we all expect when leaving our bags to be secured by the front desk.

Stayed here just for the one night and attended a friends wedding in the Ballroom. The event went very well and the staff here were fantastic. All the facilities are great, nice rooms, restaurant and food. Very nice hotel for a special occasion.

I can highly recommend High Tea in the beautiful art deco lounge area. The service, ambience and High Tea with free flowing sparkling wine was excellent and a wonderful place to celebrate a milestone birthday of two friends. Special thanks to William for his Professionalism and friendly manner.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at the Park Hyatt. The staff were extremely fro nelly and we received a free room upgrade for our anniversary. We stayed on a package which was great value for money but the dining options were quite pricey. The steps into the infinity pool were steep and difficult to navigate (being 6 months pregnant during our stay) but the overall amenities on offer are otherwise top-rate! Would stay again but may fine off-site next time.

We stayed at the Park Hyatt for the weekend to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and could not have been treated more specially. Our club room was the size of a football field and luxuriously appointed, and the personal welcome from the staff immediately from check in was second to none. We were escorted up to our room, and presented with a bottle of champagne and chocolates as a welcome gift. The quality and choice of food in the club lounge was excellent, and all of the hotel's facilities are very high quality and spotlessly clean. The spa and pool are beautifully appointed also, and the hotel's location is excellent for exploring the Paris end of the CBD, and also very handy for the MCG and tennis complex, as well as the delights of Fitzroy and Brunswick, where we walked for an early dinner one evening. We will be back!

Quite possibly the best hot chocolate I have had in my life! The addition of the mini marshmallows was an absolute stroke of genius. The only possible improvement that I could fathom is an option of whipped cream. Brilliant service and gorgeous staff, highly recommend!

The most wonderful stay we have ever had. It was our daughters birthday and the hotel arranged a birthday tray with cake and champagne. We were also upgraded to a beautiful room with a gas fireplace, we didn't want to leave.

Having stayed at a number of hotels in Melbourne, this one jumped to the top of the pile in terms of overall experience. Stayed on the 16th floor in a twin bed room. Room * Spacious room that is larger than the norm in Melbourne * Modern clean and well presented * Desk well positioned in the room * Large windows with view of skyline * Bathroom was huge and had a touch of luxury - 2 basins, large bath with TV * Great amenities throughout the room (robes, bathroom accessories, slippers etc) * TV Has a good selection of channels and on demand movie offerings * Wifi was reliable * If there is any let down - water pressure in the shower was not great and the twin beds can move around. Bed and pillows probably not the most comfortable around. Dining * Large and varied in-room dining offering including a 24 hour menu * In room dining caters for all of the common dietary requirements and they are open to discussing dietary requests * The Radii restaurant was well laid out and has a lovely ambiance * Breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, a wood fired oven the chef uses for cooking hot items and plenty of bread, fruit, pastry and cereal items as well. Hotel grounds - The lobby and dining areas are large, spacious and full of character. The main entry areas are built to impress - Everything appears clean and well presented - The level 9 day spa has a huge gym, pool and change/shower facilities. If you have to check out and hang around in the hotel you can still take advantage of the day spay facilities Service - Doormen were very helpful and deliver that welcoming service - Concierge were helpful, though at times were perhaps undermanned (1 person only) for such a large hotel - Abundant service in the restaurant Location - 5 minutes to the nearest 7-Eleven which is on the end of Colin street - Probably 10-15 minutes walk to get to CBD shopping and dining hub The hotel overall reminded me of some of the luxury hotels in Asia and the Middle east. Often hotels in Australia are understaffed and lacking luxury Recommend this for leisure travelers and for business travelers who appreciate the extra luxury

What can you say about a hotel where the furniture disintegrates when you sit at it, and the management team treat their guests with status in their loyalty program worse than animals for their inability to manage their assets? Additionally, there was a dripping noise in the room that kept me awake most of the night, but the manager had made me feel unwelcome enough already to report any further issues, that would have been my fault too!
