Lots of space/room for our family members. A good value for a large group. Each bedroom we used had its own bathroom which worked out great. We would rent it again.

Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay in this huge, comfortable house in a lovely McLean neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised at how large all the 6 rooms were, with four upstairs each with ensuite baths, one downstairs off the living room, and another full floor of bedroom-bath-rec room as a mini-apartment in the basement. There's also several good communal areas for gathering for meals or hanging out together. The kitchen is updated and has lots of cooking equipment (and a great little coffee bar!). There are some slight imperfections around the house (it's not a new build), but nothing that at all interfered with our comfort and appreciation, and when we arrived everything was spotlessly clean. The driveway is on a very steep hill (like many D.C. houses) so it was really nice to be able to park inside the garage. And we loved sitting out in the cute outdoor patio area in the mornings and evenings. If we come back to the D.C. area with a group, we'd certainly rent here again!

Family Christmas gathering
We were five adults from out of town celebrating the holidays with local family. The house is in a nice neighborhood in McLean and grocery shopping is five minutes away. The house is very large and the listing photos are accurate. Beds were very good and showers/bathrooms were great. Heating, appliances and TV all worked well and we were very comfortable. The kitchen needs more cutlery and baking and serving platters and wine glasses etc for hosting a large dinner. Host was easy to contact and answered questions.

Fun Family Thanksgiving Retreat
The house was lovely but could have been more thoroughly cleaned. Window sills were dirty, a bath mat had old blood stains. The most frustrating part of this property was having half rolls of toilet paper with no extra toilet paper in any bathroom! We had to go out and buy enough toilet paper for our stay with a family of 13. The kitchen only had enough place settings for 6-8 people and lacked basic utensils & supplies such as measuring cups and spoons, a hand mixer, salt and pepper, etc. We had to go out and buy those supplies. There were not enough towels and washcloths for the 13 of us, after being told that there were enough for 15 people plus he would leave extra. So again, we had to go buy what we needed. The host was very responsive when I messaged him prior to arriving for our stay but was not once we were in the house. I told him that we could not get the front door to lock when leaving the house and I never heard from him. That was very disconcerting. The house was spacious. My favorite room was the glassed in den that I called the “zen room”! Overall, my family enjoyed their stay in this home in spite of those things that were lacking. The cost was good for the area and for what the house had to offer. Thank you to the host.
