Could not sleep due to barking dogs in the middle of the night, or people talking loud in the hallway in the middle of the night, or doors slamming at any time (maybe rear entry door or service doors), or loud TV's from other rooms at night, or noice or crying children from other rooms. Unsafe place as indicated in a door sign inside the room advising to double lock the door for our safety. Hotel ("motel") not recommended.

Check in was the worst experience in a lifetime of traveling. I arrived at 3:15pm, room was not ready and I was told to come back at 4 pm, which is regular check in time. I came back at 4 pm. Room still not ready. New guest, without a reservation, arrived at 4:15 pm and was able to get a room. At 4:25 pm, clerk told me that my room would now be cleaned! I didn't get my room until 5:05 pm.

Front desk staff very rude. The person checking my husband in grabbed his phone to verify his license plate. Later that day police were everywhere due to potential harassment with that same clerk. The next night the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and no apologies or relief were provided. No one had a reason for it to have gone off for about 15 minutes. Hotel itself is great, comfortable beds and very minimalist design. It gets the job done. But the staff needs a revamp!
