We stayed here with our boys track team for the IHSA State Finals. You should not do that (but only because it was perfect for us and we want to book it every year). If you are a team travelling and want to save money, have a true team experience in a place that allows you to do both, this is an excellent place. Our boys enjoyed the arcade games, table tennis and air hockey. The grill was nice (BYO charcoal), and there was plenty of space for the dozen of us to be comfortable without feeling cramped. Four showers was excellent and being able to wash our jerseys with the onsite laundry kept us fresh and clean heading into finals. The towels felt brand new, as did the linens, grill, utensils, etc. Maybe we were the first to stay here? The ice cream shop was a short walk away, and the city ball fields/skate park/football field were all in walking distance so we could have plenty of outdoor recreation space in addition to all the indoor options at the space. Walmart was a quick five minute drive and the running trail bike path was literally a block away. The air conditioning went out on our second night and they had a guy there within twenty minutes and had it resolved an hour later. There is even a bedroom separate from the bunk bed rooms so I could have some personal space away from the athletes.
