Property was reasonable. Not sure why, but our bath room was had ants all over it.

Nice hotel for the night. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Air conditioner was running noisy. Front desk changed and upgraded us to a perfect room. Breakfast was good. Good was hot. A real person was there to take care of the breakfast corner, personable and attentive. Overall great experience and change our view about Baymont. We stayed at Manitwoc by the lake too. It was nice too.

A nice clean facility with friendly staff. My only issue was that Orbitz said it was just 8 miles from Effingham but was in fact 25 miles! It was a beautiful drive!

Everything was good, nice hotel! We got there early and they were nice enough to let us check in a hour before our scheduled timed.

nice hotel for the cost, close to many restaurants, friendly staff, hot breakfast, and delicious free cookies

the manager had a little trouble with his PC but he managed quickly to get our room. Super personality or i would not have been as pleased

the hotel manager was outside on her phone and took about 8 minutes to help us get checked in. then she claims her PC froze and had to write by hand

The staff was friendly and helpful after a late night check in.

Disappointed that the pool and spa were not available as this was the reason for choosing this facility.

Our 1st visit was with 5 of my Siblings for our Family Reunion. My Sister & I had a pleasurable experience staying at Mattoon, IL Baymont Inn. We stayed there for the 2nd time in less than a week and would've stayed longer except for the Eclipse travellers had the Inn fully booked for Aug 20th. The staff are terrific & recognized my service dog by name, Squirt felt at ease there too. Thank you Mattoon Baymont employees!

I have stayed here before and appreciate the clean hotel and kind staff

After a slight mix up on reservation dates, all was fine

Room wasn't as big as website made it seem, and bathroom was very small for a "King suite" but it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel met all my expectations. It was a nice clean room with a good to above average breakfast.

Had a very nice trip. Had a heated pool for the kids.

Kevin was awesome as he had breakfast up and ready before 6 realizing there were a few of us leaving out early to work, Staff was very courteous ! good selection of places to eat nearby.

We were only there a little while. Traveling through.
