Blue Spruce is a good alternative to the chain hotels in town. We found this motel through Orbitz when looking for a place to stay while visiting SUNY Potsdam. While nothing fancy, the room was large and well kept. The owner was very nice and accommodating.

Thank you so much for the great review. So pleased we are known for being the cleanest motel around. Mike and I are determined to give our guests the experience we would want. Our double queen standard motel rooms do not have chairs in them. Our vision is a lighted table and comfortable chair area.

Late arrivals are no problem for us. a quick phone call 15 min before arrival and Mike will be waiting for you. I sleep through it all. He is a great husband and we couldn't run and maintain this motel without each other. Thank you Michelle for supporting this Independent Motel.

TJ maxx I love them too. Easy to wash and durable. I think i have figured out which room is missing a bathroom door hook. just in case all rooms will be checked. We also invested in full length mirrors today.

October is here sure is flying by...Our Fall season is arriving. The leaves are gorgeous and we are looking forward to the hunters coming up this way!! Mike is very familiar with the area and is a hunter himself.
