Staff was super helpful in giving directions to get to the Calanques! And got us breakfast to go for the morning. The room was a little musty and the hallway of guests quite loud, but you could not get a more convenient location next to the train station. The street behind the hotel is a little sketchy, but walking to the old town/downtown On the orher streets surrounding was great!

Front desk were competent, rooms were reasonable priced being so close to the train station. Our room was clean but cramped. Air conditioner worked very well. There was some noise even when the window was closed. Very small elevator and had to walk up one flight of stairs to catch it.

Train Station Hotel

Location is the biggest selling point of this hotel. It is SUPER convenient to the train station ... ~3 minute walk, so no matter what time of day you arrive, you can easily get there without having to worry about transportation. You can also store your luggage there after checkout, so if you aren't leaving the city immediately, you can go exploring and know your luggage is safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful to someone who doesn't speak French. The room itself was quiet but very basic. The bathroom ceiling had old water stains everywhere, the shower stall was very small and the tile grout was dirty. It was the kind of place you don't want to walk around barefoot. For me, the convenience outweighed the lack of amenities.

Overall ok, however had bed bugs bites. The bathroom lacks basic toiletries, only soap is provided. Location is good, short 15 minutes walk to the old port area. service is responsive.

For anyone arriving at the Marseille Saint-Charles station, hotel location 100 meters away. Hotel staff helpful, room clean and bathroom clean/modern and shower large for European budget hotel standards. Great value for money hotel and convenient to Vieux Port and neighborhoods

I was quick off the train. This hotel very convenient and filled my immediate need perfectly. It’s the central train station area so nighttime has characters roaming about the neighborhood. The hotel is very established and secure. I would stay again based on its local convenience to everything.

The room was accommodating. I liked how close it was to the train station and it is a very easy 10 min walk to the port. downside to the room was that the bathroom smelled like smoke from the outside, almost like the window wasn't closed, but I could not adjust it. It is a bit loud, but with a white noise app I slept well. The staff was excellent and went out of their way to help us get information about the city.
