We're arrived at 3.30pm after that we check in but the reception said to early and the room will ready at 4pm, at 4pm we ask again, she said the room is not available yet, finally the room available at 4.20pm (My first experience). The wifi and the air conditioner work good, just need more friendly stuff.

I had the experience of staying in this hotel in end of the March. Location vise it is far from city center . Otherwise it was a nice experience . Hotel has got value for money . Nice clean room , room size was excellent . Reception staff was very cordial . Till I went for breakfast me a horrible lady named Collet ( please forgive me if I am quoting it wrong ) . One of my most horrible experience in hotel stays . She was very uncooperative . Banging the utensils . Looks like she has been forced to do the job . I felt bad for the hotel , why on the earth they kept staff like her . In such a nice hotel .

Location is far , untidy and smelly room Horrible staff and completely not helpful and useless , they can't speak English , use the mobile apps to translate what they want to say !! If you call the reception for a request , they will tell you one minute and then disappear, try to call again and no one will reply Never again

Room smelt a bit musty so had to open the windows. Toilet cistern was broken so was constantly dripping - glad it was in a separate room behind 2 doors. Cooked breakfast was lukewarm even at 7.30am. Not much in the area (bars, restaurants etc). 25 miles (45 mins) from the airport. Only good thing was it was close to my client.

Traveled from NJ to Marseille with family to attend a wedding, stayed at this hotel, LOVED IT. They have an excellent room service menu for vegetarians as well as meat lovers. They have a bar that is open until midnight. They have laundry/dry clean services. GEANT supermarket, McDonalds, KFC, IKEA, are all10 minute drive away. Room service and front desk folks are polite and helpful. I usually stay at the Marriott in the US, and I think this hotel is really good. Overall experience was great, this is a great family hotel, I highly recommend it.

Nice Hotel. Cool bathrooms, nice swimming pool. But in the swimming pool there is a big hole underwater, which is actually a light, which can scare some children. Nice play area for kids. Good food in the restaurant. Very helpful staff. Major problem is that the location shown on Apple maps is about 1km from the actual hotel, which made it very difficult to find and we had to ask locals where to find it!

It's about 20 minutes or so away from the old port ,again depending on traffic. No places to eat around where the hotel is, however there is a big drive through McDonald's on the right 3 roundabouts away when you leave hotel parking. When parking in the hotel be careful when you park near the F1 side because the walk to hotel entrance in between cars the path is not safe and a few times my children and myself have tripped because you don't realise the division part is raised (don't know how to explain but see picture ) That can be dangerous and serious. On our 1st day we asked for an iron and hangers we called reception and apparently the reception staff only 1 staff was doing the house keeping the reception duties and he asked me to come down and collect hangers and first said there's no iron available then said come down and get it I'm alone doing everything?????. "4 star "???? I asked for an iron board the reception housekeeping / staff said "we don't have any" Like was I supposed to iron on my lap??? Breakfast staff and breakfast was good . Reception staff William was lovely and another male staff apologies for not remembering his name but wore glasses was very helpful . Room cleaning service staff were good friendly especially Leohna who did our rooms except ONE and not sure if I would like to name and shame her but was so rude arrogant . Never experienced that and if she's fed up she shouldn't be there !!! Apart from that was a lovely visit .

Lovely little hotel, standard rooms but spacious modern & very clean. Separate Toilet & shower, tv and a speaker for you to connect ur music too. Lovely swimming pool. Food was nice i had the breakfast buffet & lunch here. Drinks are overpriced but then this hotel is in the middle of nowhere so they can charge extortionate prices. Half of the hotel staff were lovely & polite, especially the Manageress. however if u require a drink at the bar be prepared to wait & wait, there not rushing around to serve anyone and half the time look cross that you have even asked them to make you a drink! Other than that its a nice hotel for any kind of short staycation.

We stayed one night, when visited Marseille by car. I had negative impression by staff at check-in and room quality. As a platinum member of Accor hotels I picked this chain for family trip and feel sorry about that. There was no special attitude. I had to ask/demand for free beverage voucher at check-in. Room was standard, that is called "superior" in the reservation. Terrible - cleanliness, freshness of interior, shower quality. Just terrible. This is second Novotel in this trip and this is disappointing. Given France as homeland for this chain I expected it to be better. One more complaint - smell of smoking at the ground floor nearby reception and at the first floor. This hotel should be smoke free, but not true. Dinner was fine, service was very kind and nice! Breakfast - nice selection of food.

The single bed was broken and it is not acceptable for a price over 100 euro per night. The receptionist was great and very kind, but still, we went there for the sleep, not to socialise. A good thing was that the parking was free and was under CCTV 24h.
