We had a room with a balcony facing the port and a view of the church on the top of the hill. It was a great view and a great location. The room itself was a little dated. The WiFi was good. The room was clean. The breakfast was fair and definitely not worth the price. The staff was excellent. We had some issues we were dealing with and the front desk was exceptional at helping us out. The room only had one bath towel so we had to ask for another one. If it wasn't for the view, location and staff I would have given this hotel a three instead of a four.
Good location, but noisy and slightly run down. The air conditioner in the room did not work. The solution provided by the front desk was to bring me a fan - unacceptable given that the sliding glass door would have to be kept open. When reported, it was obvious they knew the air conditioner did not work and I was told there were no other rooms. I told the man that he would have to give me a substantial discount for me to stay in this room - 5 minutes later he called me to say that he had a room available. I don't know how he
Staying in this hotel meaning you are in walking distance to most attractions, and the hotel offers the most perfect view of the old port. However it is quite far from St Charles station, esp if you are with big luggages , parking is available nearby with no reservation needed cost around eur 13 per day if i remember correctly.
One of the best views in Marseille. Location Is perfect near everything. Rooms are cosy with balconies and nice view to the old port. It will soon need Renovation. Friendly staff and good breakfast Is important.
Very nice hotel with excellent location. Room very nice and the balcony view over the port is lovely. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Parking garage about 5 minutes walk and hotel provides a discount. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing location, great rooms, friendly and attentive service. Very quiet. Just perfect. Highly recommended. They don't have onsite parking, but there is underground one just 5 minutes walking distance.
At first glance, this hotel may seem expensive but when you take account of its brilliant location directly opposite the Vieux Port and Notre Dame de la Garde, you soon forget about the cost. Fairly recently renovated with large airy modern rooms, it also has an exceptional restaurant where you can eat 'haute cuisine' for around 50 euros a head - our dinner was truly out of this world. Breakfast again seems expensive but it was a comprehensive hot and cold buffet with 'real' coffee which can fill you up for the day. In general the service was excellent both in reception and in the restaurant but we felt that for the price, a bit more service at breakfast time would have expected for this class of hotel. However, this did not spoil a very enjoyable stay. Strongly recommended.
Right on the port. Welcoming staff and a warm atmosphere. Nothing seemed too much trouble - I asked for a chair for the bathroom - no problem. We were popping out and they asked if we wanted an umbrella as it looked a bit threatening, rainwise. For the disabled - our room was fine - all I would say is that a couple of extra grab rails in the bathroom and higher up would be of assistance.
I stayed here for a short business trip and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were very comfortable and the location is fantastic for access to Marseille's many restaurants. I will definitely stay here again and recommend that my colleagues do the same.
We stayed only 2 nights but we had sea view rooms with great views. The location was really great. Some staff couldn't speak much English, but that is not a negative thing as it is nice to try and speak another language. Room doesn't have an iron so you have to ask for it.
