We spent three nights at Riad Itrane, and could not have been happier with our experience. The whole staff, including the owner, was very helpful. Our room was lovely and the bed quite comfortable. But best was the feeling of peacefulness in this riad after spending time touring Marrakech, especially the hectic (but fun) market and souks. There were several common areas where we would simply relax and have a pot of tea. Also, the views from the rooftop were lovely. We would relax and watch the sun set over the nearby mosque. The breakfasts were delicious and varied, and the one dinner excellent.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we had the perfect stay. Staff were on hand to help at any time to give you guidance and assist in what is a frantic and at times overwhelming environment. Staff were the calming influence when coming in from the hustle and bustle and it was like a calm oasis in a busy city. Rooms were adequately sized and cleaned immaculately. Remember that this an old style riad in the historic city and not a purpose built hotel and complex so rooms feel realistic and authentic to Morocco, but maybe slightly darker than more modern style hotels. I stress this is not in any way a bad thing, we really liked it that way. Breakfast was beautiful every day including (but not only) fresh fruit, figs, dates, eggs of your choice and nice teas and coffee. It felt like nothing was too much for staff. While checking in for the return flight, it was highlighted we needed a paper boarding pass for the airport rather than electronic phone version. Staff printed off the paperwork without any issues, straight away and were happy to help. If you want a quaint, personal and authentic feeling riad which is calm and beautifully presented and has a series of outdoor terraces and indoor seating areas look no further. Absolutely perfect stay. Thank you all so much. *However, if you want a new style, purpose built, bland golfing holiday complex style suite with white walls and no soul then maybe give this a miss!*

My husband and I had the great fortune to stay at Riad Itrane for 5 nights. Our Antares suite room was spacious, clean, quiet and very comfortable. We really appreciated the friendliness of the Riad's owners Patric and Charlotte, as well as the warm hospitality of all of their staff. Be sure to book dinner at the Riad for at least one night as the quality of the food and its flavor is better than what you will find at tourist focused restaurants. Our tagine of chicken w/ olives and preserved lemon was exquisite.

I stayed at the Riad Itrane for 3 days after completing a tour of the North and South of Morocco. I needed somewhere where I could just relax after the hectic tour. The riad is in a quiet part of the medina and only a short walk to the place Jemaa el Fna. The walk is well lit after dark and safe. The riad is very comfortable and the food is excellent. I really enjoyed my stay and I would stay again when in Marrakech. Charlotte and Patrice are wonderful hosts and I was made to feel at home.

A group of us stayed at Riad Itrane at the start of November. From the outset all the staff could not have been more helpful, greeting us with mint tea, cake and lots of helpful information. The rooms were charming and clean, the breakfast was varied and plentiful and the outside space was lovely with lots of sun beds and chairs, with or without shade, where guests can relax. We enjoyed a delicious meal one evening at the Riad which was good value. The staff also recommended and booked us a great spa and a great trip to the Atlas Mountains. All in all we had a great time and would recommend Riad Itrane!

Lovely atmosphere and room. The hosts and all the staff were just delightful and thoughtful throughout. Breakfast was lovely, overlooking the pool. Just lovely. Patrice and Charlotte were so helpful sorting out change requests for us. Really want to come back. Thank you guys!

We stayed two nights following a three night break in a big hotel on the outskirts of Marrakech with our two teenage children. This is a perfect place to stay in central Marrakech. We were dropped off near the big square which was a true assault on the ears, eyes & nose! A porter collected us with a little hand cart and took us for a five/ten minute walk across the crazy square and in to the crowded souk, then down a tiny narrow lane until we came upon a door - the Riad Itrane. We were welcomed so warmly by Abdul who served us Moroccan Mint tea which was very welcome as we had suffered with tummy upsets at the last hotel we'd stayed up. We had two rooms on the ground floor. Ours was a suite with separate sitting room. There was a gorgeous little swimming pool which was warm which was fantastic as the pool in the hotel we'd been before was freezing cold! Abdul was so helpful & went over and above the call of duty throughout our stay. We organised two tours of the souk and monuments one at night & one during the day. We ate in the main square in a recommended restaurant which was fantastic & our guide secured our table for us. The second night we had dinner cooked for us in the Riad which was lovely. There were many little rooftop gardens for sitting on a comfortable sun lounger listening to the sparrows twitter & the hum of the distant craziness of the square & the call to prayer from the mosques. There are 1,200 Riads you can stay in, in Marrakech apparently, but I doubt you'd find such friendly helpful people anywhere else!

We stayed at Riad Itrane for almost a week while we attended a family wedding in Marrakech. The rooms are lovely, the people are super friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was authentic and plentiful, with fresh breads, fruit and omelets to order. We would stay there again if we return to Marrakech. Note that the riad is deep in the Medina (center of the old quarter of Marrakech), which is closed off to vehicles at 1 p.m. every day to prepare for the "big party" every night. Getting into and out of the lodging therefore requires quite a bit of walking, so be prepared for that! But for us, staying there was well worth it!

We stayed 7 days in this beautiful Riad. The hosts, Charlotte and Patrice, and their staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Helped us with restaurant reservations and gave great advice and recommendations on what to see and do in Marrakech. Thanks for an unforgettable stay.

What a fantastic choice for a Riad! This is a great location to be near the action but far enough that you are not bothered by the hustle and bustle outside. The room was so beautiful. We stayed in the Urantia suite. It has a living room, bedroom and bathroom. It has such great historical architecture and stairs that lead up to a private section on the rooftop terrace. Charlotte and Patrice are the owners and excellent hosts! They immediately welcome you and make you feel right at home with a comfortable check in service and mint tea. The staff are excellent as well. The manager even helped us one early morning in the medina when we could not find our tour guide. The breakfast is good and the evening dinners are delicious. They cook everything fresh and that was a real treat. This was my first time in Morocco and I have to say I made the right choice in Riad Itrane. I look forward to staying with them again in the future! A big THANK YOU to the staff and Charlotte and Patrice!
