Special thanks to coach Abdou au centre de remise en forme Movenpick Marrakech Kind helpful and so professional always here to help and show u the right steps Thanks Abdou again for ur help and kindness
The hotel it's impressive from the arrival. The architecture and the forniture and decoration it's amazing in all corners. But, to check in with a non smiling reception staff that takes 350€ from you credit card as deposit without warning firstly, it's not a good start. Another collegues travelling with me were taken up to 900€, this while our accomodation was previously paid. So they charge as they feel with the excuse that this way you have money in the room account to pay any orders at the bars or restaurants. This is another point to review. The prices of the food and beverage it's simply too expensive. 9€ for a glass of house wine or 7€ for a local beer it's too much in a slow and not smiling service. About the service, as low is the job position as more as they smile and polite are. The rooms keepers are lovely and always saying bon jour with a smile. The woman cooking the omelettes at the breakfast bufe is an artist and charmy. But concierge and receptionist are not that much. The breakfas bufe is just enough (5 over 10). For a hotel with pices like the ones they charge they should have a look into Gran Melia Hotels breafast for example as this hotel is the range of prices as Gran Melia Palacio de Isora for example. The room was amazing nice and the bed was one of the best I ever sleep on. Good cleaning service and nice sowher and bathroom in general.
The Kids Club Staff is very nice and friendly and professionel. Program varies every day. Rest of the hotel is pretty old. Pool area not maintained. Spa staff professional but premises neglected. Spa Manager is missing. Watch out mainly Conferences and reception staff is not very friendly.
I came here with a Gate 1 tour and was very impressed by the grounds and public areas. It's beautiful to walk around and discover all the art work and decor. The room was nice, mostly average with weak air conditioning. The bed was very comfy. I did the Royal Hammam treatment in the spa which was a unique experience. Not totally relaxing because it's a serious exfoliation, but the spa set up was lovely and the attendant gave good service. My only gripe was the service at the pool bar as it was slow and not attentive. I had to finally get up and ask for the check at the bar because the server never came back. I did get a margherita pizza there and it was pretty tasty. I think you'll be pleased to stay at the hotel and only a couple minor adjustments would make it 5 star.
The hotel is fine the rooms are nice the breakfast is fine the one criticism is the AC was practically off Even after service by maintenance that got the air flow to work there was still no cooling effect from the noisy unit
Wow - modern large hotel with great Moorish touches. Impressive pool, very professional staff, wonderful food and easy walk / taxi to many other restaurants and sights. Wonderful public areas, comfortable discrete seating - recommended!
Great hotel and staff, the pool is amazing, Abdelkarime et Mohammed Amine looked after us with big smile everytime, they where warm, friendly and helpful. Thanks to both of you and thank movenpick....
I travel for work a lot, and I stay at chain hotel most of the times. I have never been disappointed at all using Movenpick Marrakech. Thanks for the friendliness and helpfulness of the reception personnel, namely Nezha, she’s been incredibly helpful which I am great full for. She’s an asset to Movenpick Marrakech, praise her. The breakfast was also my top highlight. The buffet has almost everything you need. The coffee is sooooo good. The staff were helpful especially the smiley lady I don’t remember her name. She’s great.
I come here regularly and breakfast is always a pleasure. Hotel a real maze but beautiful. Porters excellent too. No complaints. The pool and the pool bar really nice , very comfortable . You must try the pancake at breakfast it’s delicious.
Beautiful hotel in a great location. Only 15 mins from the airport. Staff are very attentive. Special shout out to Taha in the breakfast room, he was superb. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. Be careful with the taxis outside the hotel (or anywhere in Marrakesh). The guys on the front door to the hotel can advise a ball park figure for what you should be paying which is handy. Make sure you agree the price before getting in the cab. Once you are in, enjoy the ride, because the way the traffic flows and driving is an experience.
