This is a GREAT locally owned inn! The staff was extremely helpful, each room is on the bay, easy to get in/out. We stayed for a week & thoroughly enjoyed the place. They are making improvements/updates. Highly recommended!!

The place had a very nice view of the bay out the back door with chairs to sit on while watching the sunset. It had a good continental breakfast to get our day started. Very convenient too things to do around the area.

We had an amazing experience here. The proximity to Munising was great. The location on the water was fabulous! We enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching dogs play on the lawn below, chatting with other guests assembled there and watching the sun set

I love this place! The sheets, pillows and coverings were squeaky clean! The room was spacious, the locate was convenient to many tourist sites and restaurants, very good continental breakfast, and the staff couldn’t be friendlier! I highly recommend it!

An enjoyable stay at the Beach Inn. The room was extremely clean with a comfortable bed & a good supply of towels, which was appreciated as there was no housekeeping. As others have said, the bathrooms are very much in need of updating, but again it was very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate to start the day and the coffee was hot and fresh. The view of Lake Superior & being able to sit near the lake was a treat.

Quaint hotel with back patio overlooking Lake Superior. Amazing sunset views Simple breakfast faire. Close to restaurants and gas stations. Bathroom could use updating and we had hot water issues while showering. Could also hear upstairs guests (thin walls?)

The property is right on the lake, quiet and clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the room has a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast had a variety of foods. I loved the free Andes mints in the lobby too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The view of the lake and balcony outside each room is nice. The staff were very nice and wonderfully helpful. The first room I had was not clean (hair in the tub, thick dust on the furniture); however, the front staff were apologetic and it was not a problem to move to a different room, which was much better. They had attributed the issue to a recent turnover in cleaning staff that is now better.

We stayed two nights here so we could go to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Our room was on the second floor and had a balcony with a nice view of Lake Superior. The room was a decent size. Breakfast was included, which is a nice touch. We were able to walk into town for meals, though it wasn't comfortable due to no sidewalk. The man who checked us in was very helpful with maps and recommendations. When we had a small issue in the room, he came right up to address it. Our sleep was peaceful and restful. We would definitely stay here again.
