I really liked the location of your property. The roof top view of Intramuros and old Manila. The breakfasts were tops and the professionalism of the staff staff are a reason I will stay at your hotel in the future.

i liked the friendliness of ALL the staff, from the front desk personnel to the housekeeping people and the restaurant staff

Location was great in the old city. A good breakfast and superb front office staff.

This was my second trip to the Bayleaf. The hotel does not maintain or repair damages to the room. For example, the number on the outside of the door was chipped. The towels had pulled threads and looked dingy. I had to spend a lot of time going back and forth with the hotel to not change rooms in advance of my stay, as I booked two nights separately when trying to coordinate sleeping during the day. That said, I made a huge deal about sleeping during the day for a layover and ordered a massage, and the hotel did not provide a door hanger ,don’t disturb’ - but housekeeping interrupted my massage, twice. Also, they arranged a taxi for airport pick up but the driver was no where to be found and I waited a long time. That company is separate from the hotel, but I didn’t like wasting 45 minutes and being left a sign to call a number just to locate a taxi when I could have simply taken one at the airport and been on my way sooner. About the massage, the therapist was 25 minutes late due to traffic. The massage was great, but if you are on a tight schedule things may not go smoothly if arranged at the hotel. The hotel did comp a meal for me to make up for the taxi situation being delayed which I appreciated. But the food was not on point, exactly. It was an overall ok experience. It is not the worst place to stay but there are better options available.

Good value hotel. Clean room. Hotel staff were friendly, but seemed unhappy. Answers to my questions were short, professional, but lacking the Filipino warmth I have found at many other Philippine hotels.

Rooms were smaller than I thought. Towels were very rough.wifi was horrible. Toilet flush always got jammed. Fire extinguishers in the hallway were empty.walls are very thin. supervisor would not contact me. avoided me for 2 days. Dinner especially when weather was nice was awesome in the penthouse.

Beautiful hotel in a classic area. Exceptionally clean and the staff was professional.

A nice and surprising hotel in the middle of historical Intramuros. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet even with all the outside noise of Intramuros. We love that we can just cross the street and be right at the walls of Intramuros. The staff are super-friendly and efficient. Love the complimentary buffet breakfast. And the two restaurants by its penthouse are wonderful. We had a very early check-out to catch a 7:00 a.m. flight to Coron and the staff provided us with boxed breakfast to take with us. That was really nice :)

Good Deal for $70 a night. A lot of history around this area. The rooms are great, and I liked the breakfast buffet. Even ordered room service, which tasted good. Decent prices, too. It was a little inconvenient for some taxis to get to (many didn't know how to get to this place). It's also surrounded by a couple schools. Pretty active during the day. The cleaning staff and front desk were friendly and helpful.

Sorry for the late response. I attended our College reunion and checked in for 2 days. We got locked in my room for almost 1 hour. Good thing that my son was there with me to calm me down. It took 4-5 hotel staff to break the door so we could come out. We were late for the event. This ruined our day and I hope this will not happen on other hotel guest especially the elderly.

Bathroom wasn't clean. Employees wasn't that impressive for a 4 star hotel.

This is our second stay at Bayleaf and we are again extremely satisfied withthe accommodations and restaurant facilities. The hotel staff are efficient and customer friendly. We highly recommend Bayleaf will likely come back again.

Very happy with my stay at The Bayleaf. The room was spotless and comfortable.

Loved breakfast and view of restaurant. The staff are professional and courteous.

Staff was wonderful and always ready to help their guest. Over all I would stay in this hotel again

It is every bit a 4 of 5 star hotel except it does not have a pool and a fitness room.

Breakfast is excellent not to mention free; plus free wifi

For a short stay in Manila and not interested in the big city but a little history lesson this is perfectly located.

We had a great stay at the Bay Leaf! A big "thank you" to Chester at the Front Desk who was very attentive, and assisted us with the information as to how to book our reservations for Corredigor Island. Great food, and a great evening upstairs on the roof top Bar. I also liked that the Door men seem to know the best Taxi drivers and the Best Tricycle drivers for their Clientelle and act - somewhat - as a 'Bouncer' in this regard. Highly recommended!

In all my visits to Manila this has been by far my best hotel experience. There are far more expensive hotels that can’t come close to the quality of the Bayleaf. I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. I would put it on par with a Marriott or dare I say Four Seasons brand of hotel in the United States in terms of overall comfort and professionalism of staff. The staff has all been wonderful, and although it shouldn't factor into my review 90% of the female staff are gorgeous and the remaining 10% are way above average. Sorry, but there is just something about a beautiful woman going out of her way to insure my comfort. The pictures posted are accurate and in fact don’t do justice to the space and location. The hotel is spotless, the security is alert and made me feel very safe, the resturant is wonderful, and the location is great. The only thing lacking from this hotel is maybe a roof top swimming pool. But then the sun is so intense in Manila that I’m not sure I would have used it. Overall, you can’t go wrong and you will stay there again.
