Great place close to mall, just down street and around corner. The staff are super...they all my friends now..indoor pool which is sorta cold but great on a hot day. Only not so good thing is internet. only about 26mps down and up little over 1.2mps...if they improve that they would to me rate a 5 star..
Nice and clean rooms. Parking available but access is not easy. The hotel actually only caters for quarantine guests at the moment
I like the live band in the evening. Staff has been helpful and friendly and welcoming as is the Filipino stamp at just about every hotel I had stayed at in this country. No complaints really.
Check in was quick and friendly, even though the room I reserved didn't appear to be available. The staff found a suitable substitute. The room was spacious and clean, but a little worn. The safe was particularly small, so I couldn't fit much of my electronic equipment in it - most other Makati hotels have larger safes that permit me to store my laptop and gear. The bed was uncomfortable and pillows large and hard. And the internet speed was exceedingly slow. On the plus side, the hotel is located in an area with lots of restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and responsive. And, room service was quite good, with Continental, Filipino, Indian and Malaysian dishes.
Really it's very bad and didn't worth it. I stay 40 minutes for check in. They are racist.
it's close to Burgos and that's probably what many guests look for. My room was o.k., bed was clean but there were some stains on the floor which could have been removed when thoroughly cleaned. O.k.-choice for a short stay.
Good value comfortable and good staff .good location.had fun.
If your want an affordable hotel right in the heart of Makati, it is a good choice. There are lot of bars, massages...closed the red light area. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. But the hotel is very old and outdated. The towers are too old, the pillows are too big and firm, hurting our neck badly...
I am glad I pre-booked this hotel for my 3 night stay in Makati, have no regrets whatsoever, but I am not sure if I am eager to book it again in the future. One side of the hotel faces a square with a loud live band until about 1am. Luckily I hardly sleep before that time. Air conditioning worked very well during my stay and the room is comfortable.
Every things are bad Staff, eatting, cleaning And i made complaint about that no body answer
The room no maintaintant, bath room tap water broken, light out of order. I never visit a hotel the left too slow and bad condition. The staff very good.
I have enjoyed my staying at berjaya hotel. The staff are very nice and friendly. The rooms and facilities are clean and they have great foods. I will probably choose this hotel again on my next vacation and will recommend it a friend. I just have a suggestion, I think it will be better if they will provide a microwave in every room so the left over food won't be wasted.
First issue, hard to get a King Sized bed. Apparently the management here thinks all people are same sized as Asians and seem to forget many ppl are 6'2". The room is spartan.. like being in a Holiday Inn Express. They dont even replenish the soap and shampoo every day. They gave me a small bar of hand soap and no hand soap. So I showered using the Shampoo.I asked for more soap, I got nothing. So I went to the 7-11 and bought a soap bar! The room is for 2, you get 2 towels and one hand towel - nothing else. I guess they assume foreigners are dirty and dont bathe! The toilets wont flush too well either. There are other hotels in this area, which are newer.. The lobby has a restaurant, but after waiting 15 minutes I had to ask the hostess for a menu! Then the Waiter had no idea what a MaiTai was, even though it was on the menu. The Internet works good. Beds are a little hard. TV is flat screen with decent channels. Not a bad place, but not worth the value you pay. Woke up this morning with hammering upstairs. I guess the Engg. team felt it ok to start hammering at 9AM, without checking if other guests are near (and overcoming jetlag)
Hotel is overpriced as there are other & newe r3-4 hotels within 500 ft. The room is spartan. Issue with the bathroom.. toilet wont flush well, the tub wont drain. bathroom looks old. They only give u 2 towel and one hand towel per day for a 2-person room. One small bar of hand soap -- bring your own bath soap! I did move to a Junior Suite for an extra fee, and that room was SOOO MUCH BETTER. But I found other hotels in that area with better prices and amenities.
Location and service were OUTSTANDING! For the price you pay you are conveniently located in the heart of Makati walking distance to many restaurant options, a clean market and lots of activity. The staff were very friendly and professional. The rooms were well kept and clean at all times. I stayed there in 2 separate stays, 1/7 - 1/10 then again in 1/21 - 1/24 and both times I found Berjaya to be a good deal. Don't be expect a high end service hotel but one that provides you comfort and service at a very good price. Highly recommend this location!
I booked this hotel on the tail end of a two week stint in the Philippines. Five days in Boracay, then five days in Makati -- then the extra couple days with layovers in Korea. Anyway, I was at first okay with the location, then when I was actually cabbed over from NAIA, I got a little concerned. It's not exactly middle-Makati, as it's actually a fair walk to the larger malls there. But, it's actually not all that bad. You're still on Makati Avenue, and it's not a hard walk to anywhere. Front desk staff was very helpful throughout the stay. We opted for the Grand Deluxe, and got moved into the Premier room, which was a bit smaller, but had some amenities that we really liked. Anyway, we had some small piddling issues, and the front desk staff took care of it quickly. Like, our internet service cut off abruptly via wireless, so we called in the front desk and within half an hour we had service again. The room itself was spacious, but a bit lacking in storage space. Living out of our bags was almost essential, but there is a chest of 2 drawers large enough for a large piece of luggage to sit on top. Plenty of hangers in the closet and it was nicely lit overall. My only complaint, and this got a fairly large ding on my book, is that the shower is SMALL. I'm only 5'7", but the raised platform and lowered ceiling of the shower/bath made it really hard to shower. I mean, the shower head, even after adjustments, only hit my upper chest, rather than my hair. So, washing hair (even if I'm bald) was a chore. And hot water ran out fast, but my friend's hotel room had NO running water. Also, the shower was built to drain both in the tub and in the bathroom floor itself. So don't put clothes down if you don't want them wet. But, the room was clean, the price was great, and everything was a cab ride away. Not too bad for what I'd paid and I would definitely go again!
nice hotel ..... but not handicapped friendly.not easily accessible to public taxi cabs.
Average hotel at best. For the money that they are charging you can get a better hotel for the same price that they were charging. The staff was at least nice and the food was good.
beautful acommadations, very friendly and helpful staff. close to big mall, so me and my wife could go shopping. witch she really enjoys. loved my stay there and would return again to stay there.
