Terrible little motel

Difficulty getting keypad code to work initially to get into the room, then could not get the code to work to lock the room upon leaving after checking in initially. A motel employee happened to be in the parking lot area and saw me struggling with the lock, came over and used a physical key to turn the bolt and lock the door. Then, when I came back to actually use the room to sleep, the keypad code would not work to unlock the room. Also, the room was billed as non-smoking but smelled of cigarette smoke. When I came back that night, there was a rowdy party going on outside the door, based in the room next door to mine, AND, the keypad code would not work. Left and told the night desk person I would not be staying. There is construction/refurb work going on with several other rooms.

Good motels but needs work

We did get the theme room but the living area was very dirty including clumps of hair in the tub. Issues with the code to get into the hotel which you had to get from the hotel across the road. Bedroom was clean and beds were comfy. Definitely needs some updating. Next to the car wash, liquor and food store which was good. Walking distant to the down town area

Worst motel Ive ever stayed in. It is so run down. The place is dirty, furniture is banged up, some stuff works, other doesn't. Only reason I remained there was I didn't see any bugs (which was amazing honestly).

We booked expecting a mural painted room and a kitschy Oz experience based on pictures and reviews. WE DID NOT get a room that was suitable or as pictured. Our room was in the far corner of a VERY DARK parking area with people sitting outside their rooms on the ground and within the parking lot. We are fans of small town American motel experiences BUT this is straight out of a movie where you don't come out with all your body parts.

The property needs an overhaul. The couches were dirty. The shower had some hair in the drain and on the shower walls. There wasn't any cleaning service. We were disappointed.

Room was filthy. Smelled horrible. Window didn’t shut nor lock. Air conditioning does not blow cold air. Room was unlocked when we got there. Dirt and grime on walls, ceilings and window. Hole in carpet. It was awful. Asked for a different room and we were told no because we used Expedia we would be charged again. Went for breakfast and every crockpot was empty. No pastries nor muffins were left. I had to ask for the food to be replenished. Front desk lady told me to call Expedia. Couldn’t find a phone number. I will only book direct from now on. Do not go to this hotel! It is horrible!

Property was purchased by another hotel in the area. We had to go to that hotel to check in. Our room at the Simmer motel did not have a smoke detector, carpet, flooring & furniture was stained, dirty & dingy. Definitely would not recommend this property.
