Stayed for one night and that was enough. The room was uncomfortably hot and the air conditioning panel did not work. Was told by reception the next morning they adjust it from downstairs, why? Pages missing in the welcome book in the room so not something we would know. The beds were hard and the room was a bit shabby, but clean. No USB charge.
Loud guests. Fire Alarm at 1am with no staff available. Only 1 lift, so major delays getting to and from room. Delayed checkout as computers not working. Wrong staff attitude when issue of fire alarm raised. Have stayed many times before with Laing O'Rourke. Will be trying other hotels from now on. Poor show.
We stayed here when my son and his friend attended Paramore at the 02. easy to find, parking a dream and a straight route 10 min walk to the 02. rooms were spotless we were in the executive double rooms they were lovely and spacious, reception and bar staff so helpfull. food is a tad expensive( £60 for 3 pizzas and 6 small cokes ) and even the tuna pizza had chillis on, but other than that it was perfect. will go again but only if going to the 02 as the surrounding area is not up to much
Literally 3 mins from Manchester Picadily. Convenient and easy to find. Smiling staff with excellent manners. Check in was reasonably quick. I had an executive room which was more than spacious enough for one, along with quite a large bathroom, Tea and coffee facilities available, but could have done with more sachets of milk. My room service attendant who I used twice was kind, smiling and very efficient. Was told when ordering the time it would take, and not a minute later did my orders arrive which was great. The only problem with the room was the Iron which burnt part of my shirt as it was faulty and leaked water. Checkout the next day had a massive queue with what seems very few staff. As I had paid on arrival I did not have to arrive, but this could have been improved with some mire staff and more direction to the express check out box. Apart from that, room was clean, comfortable and had pretty much all I needed. Will definitely stay when in Manchester..
The Purple Lounge is a new Indian Restaurant in the Ellesmere Centre Walkden. I found the menu to be fully comprehensive with a choice of both Indian and English cuisine. Staff were welcoming, courteous and very pleasant in every respect, whilst the decor is excellent and unusual in the way that there is a large open area but offering various sizes booths for more private dining. They also provide high chairs for babies making for a complete family treat.
This is my first stay in the hotel. Good location, nice staff, clean and comfortable room, the only thing i don't like is waiting time of the lift is toooooo long. But definitely will stay in this hotel again.
Your staff are so friendly and helpful! I would like to mention Michael in particular, whose politeness and hard work contributed so much. He carried our luggage to the baggage room and then back to us on one of the hottest days of the year. The rooms and food are also excellent. You just need clear signs pointing guests to the car park and a clear indication in the park of where to exit.
My wife and I spent one night in the hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Food in the hotel was very good. Room service was a little slow but we got the impression that there was a smallish team of very hard-working staff and a lot of demands on their time. Managers were very obliging and anxious to please as were the delightfully patient reception staff. The problems with the lift were a little irksome but unavoidable. We would definitely come again, if we could.
Would definitely chose to stay here again room was big and bed very comfy also full hotel was very clean. Staff all were very helpful and always seemed happy and wanted you to feel at ease. Car park a little expensive but very safe within gates and fence with security cameras.
Very clean room ! Staff v good ! Except on checkin my key card didn't work (twice) up and down the stairs late in the evening was a disaster ... but I got over it - minor issue :) food is only average !
