I stayed at the Art Hotel for three days with my boyfriend. We arrived around 10:30 pm we able able to check in with no issue. The room was quite small though but was comfy. The WiFi did not work that well in the room, the breakfast was tasty! Overall, I had a good experience at this hotel, I would definitely come back. Attractions were far from this hotel you need to rent a car or use a taxi which can be quite costly. Also, parrots roam freely through out this hotel!

SWimming pool was a treat -clean and well-maintained. Breakfasts were OK -they could do with some jam or marmelade -request was made and ignored for 3 consecutive days! Worst aspects of stay: 1/ isolated from centre -lots of nasty drunks walking around the area at night; 2/ the internet worked quite well, but only in the public areas, which were open air and often unbearably hot. My air-conditioned room got very spasmodic internet reception.

The entire staff was very accommodating, we had several special issues to due time constraints ( we were traveling on business and had packed too many errands into one trip). The staff was so very helpful and made everything go so smoothly. My husbands special diet was also no problem for them, they prepared him a special breakfast without blinking an eye. I would recommend this boutique hotel to anyone looking for a quiet place to relax or someone on the run like we were.

So obviously a hotel that you can spend under $50 a night won't be a luxury hotel... Having said that, the beds were super comferteble, the room was clean. The hotel staff was so nice, they only cleaned the room when you were at the hotel or when you wanted it clean, and it seemed that no matter what time we woke up we were able to get breakfast, even though I wish I had known the times to not be a burden on them. The pool was great too. They are a three minute walk to the main road where it is super easy to grab a taxi. If I go back to Nicaragua I will for sure stay at this hotel again!

I really liked staying at the Art Hotel Managua, it has a friendly staff and very clean rooms. And a geat value for the money.

The staff here is so friendly, and they all speak perfect English, for those of us who don't speak Spanish :)

Room was clean, and everything worked. The staff was very friendly, and helpful.

Clean with AC you can control in room. Breakfast decent (coffee was OK but no fresh fruit). Airport pickup was reliable especially since I arrived after midnight. Staff not helpful nor friendly, just there to do the job.

The location is safe, the air-conditioned rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast (included) is delicious plus the best orange juice I've ever had. But more than anything, the shuttle driver, front desk people and the rest of the staff took care of us like family. Super relaxed dining area, good wifi and cold bottled water topped it off. Highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was wonderful, hotel extremely clean and comfortable. Great breakfast! Would highly recommend this for a stop over in Managua. We stayed here on our way to and from the corn islands.

Located in a safe neighborhood. Very helpful English speaking staff. Nice clean pool, everything was very clean and well maintained.

The staff was wonderful and friendly. The airport pickup was without a glitch and I enjoyed my 1 night stay here. The hotel is decorated nicely, both in the lobby, the seating area, and in the rooms, and by the pool. I like the birds in the public walkway in the morning. There's free wi-fi and a couple computers to use. The only thing I think needs clarification is the "airport transportation available." It's not free (actually costs $14.50) and one would assume the hotel is close to the airport. It's not. It's about 30 minutes away. I enjoyed my stay here.

This hotel is HARD to find. Make sure you have clear directions to give your cab driver. It's not as close to the airport as originally posted, it's an $11 cab ride away. This hotel is very average. I stayed in Room #11 that, for some reason, had three beds which made me feel like I was staying in a hostel. My room was clean but had the bare minimum. At least they have hot water and air conditioning. The pool needs some TLC though. I paid $43 for a night here and it felt like I was paying too much. PROS: Fantastic Complimentary Breakfast Friendly/Helpful Staff Free Wifi & Communal Computers Drinks, Alcohol, Snacks Available For Purchase Gated After Dark CONS Hard to Find Unsafe Area after Sunset Not Close to the Airport

I stayed here a few days before but this time I got room #26 which is nicer and upstairs away from the noise. There were two beds and a bunk bed in my room which was odd. The air conditioning worked well but I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times because of the permanently open window cut out letting bugs/hot air in.

I was only in Managua for 12 hours, but the hotel staff was extremely responsive when my flight arrived almost an hour early and got a taxi to me as soon as they could. The room was comfy and super quiet. I don't know Managua so can't review the location, but it seemed like a quiet and safe neighborhood. It was certainly affordable compared to other recommendations that I had been given.

We arrived late and tired - they immediately unlocked the gate and couldnt have been more helpful. They changed $'s to Cordoba at a very good rate, much better than the airport. We sat down, had a beer and talked to the night desk woman. We were 3 adults in a room and they gave us 3 beds and the room was very clean with nice towels and soap. Breakfast was very good with choices and included in the price. We only stayed one night as we were on our way to Jiquilillo but I would definitely recommend it. Many handmade crafts all over were for sale and some very nice.

clean and friendly, felt safe, staff were very helpful; a good place to overnight in managua.

It"s a small hotel, with no luxury, but it is conviniently located in the heart of Managua close to shoping malls, restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies.......small place staffed 24/7, they go out of their way to please you, traditional fresh cook breakfast every morning. The hotel is very, very clean. For my next trip to Nicaragua, i will make a reservation in this hotel.

Great little hotel staffed 24/7 with people who go out of their way to help you with everything from finding a taxi to ordering pizza. I almost made the tourist's mistake of not staying in Managua, but when we booked a day at the Art Hotel we added 4 more so we could tour Managua. Lots to see in the city, don't err and go straight to the small towns. If you stay this is the place because the staff tries and does make you feel at home. No stuffy rules just relax and enjoy. Great breakfast.

Hotel was very conveniently located for me relative to where I wanted to go. Staff was very friendly and room was pretty comfortable. Breakfast, internet, and airconditioning. No complaints and would stay at again.
