El Camino Real is very nice place with very helpful staff. This time I wasn't happy with my stay because despite my crippled condition I was given room far away. Hotel wasn't crowded, I'm sure there was vacancy near the reception. And as always - at least one mosquito in the room...

We were place in rooms across construction. I reserved three rooms including one for my brother, his wife and my niece. I clearly labeled there was two adults and a kid in the room and paid for breakfast included. When at the hotel they tell me that the kids breakfast was not included that I had to place her as an adult in the room. I have never seen that before and the are telling me it is expedias fault not theirs. The front desk person Marvin is terrible to deal with not apologetic for anything. The noise of construction and the dust goes into our room. They did not even offer to switch us rooms or offer to pay for the kids meal for the inconvinience. At might the mosquitos are brutal. They are not taking care of spraying to make sure there are no mosquitos. Overall a terrifble experience in this room. I have been coming to this hotel for the past 10 years and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had in this hotel.

This place was a nice hotel and when I booked it I was sure i booked it with breakfast as all of the other 6 hotels I stayed in I had but anyway the said I didn’t so no problem I paid for the breakfast for 2 days for 2 was $75 the problem I had was the way it was handled manager hid behind the staff and sent had staff do the dirty work also the charged my card $12.98 extra even though I tipped in cash. When booking make sure to screenshot what you are getting as big hotels like this are predatory there are much better hotels than this in Nicaragua that are properly managed this is my first negative experience and review for 10 days of travel in Nicaragua
