Crowne Plaza Managua

The hotel is well equipped and with good taste for the money, clean and the staff are very helpful and polite. As soon as you walk out the surroundings is not what you want to see. There is a military base next to the hotel and military personnel are not good greeters if you understand, so avoid walking around that area. The mall in front of to the hotel is not recommended, avoid going in there.

This hotel had the best service I experienced in the entire country - coming from NYC this was a very tall order but the Intercontinental Managua really delivered. Our waitress Katiusa was amazing.

I stayed at the Hilton, crown plaza and the holiday inn before. This hotel is the best, they had issues with the elevators but other than the hotel was clean and modern with great service at the dinning room

I stayed at The Crown Plaza to visit my girlfriend who lives in Manugua. About half the hotel staff spoke English which made my stay more comfortable. They also had a nice pool and a gym, and their food was pretty goods and at a reasonable price for a hotel. If you know where to go in Manaugua they have some very nice restaurants and the hotel is located im a nice central area so I would recommend it to those traveling to this city.

Almost everybody spoke English and went out of their way to make me happy. I arrived 930 in the morning, no problem they had a room for me. My plane left 530 in the afternoon, no problem stay in room as long as you want. And the New Years Eve party was kicking HOT!!! Rooms were clean, food was great and the pool was refreshing!

Centrally located Free shuttle from Airport - a definite plus!

I took this trip to Managua with my brother. Our father recently passed away and he left us some property we needed to deal with. The staff at the Crowne Plaza was extrememly helpful since I do not speak Spanish and my lawyer did not speak very good English. The guys at the front desk Thomas and Oneal were great translators! On my previous visits, I stayed at a smaller, family run hotel and I prefer the more commercialized feel of the Crowne Plaza. Also, there was a small earthquake while we were there but in the hotel, we didn't even know since it was built with earthquakes in mind.

customer service was exellent, they tended to any of your needs. The food was exquisite. Rooms were in execellent conditions

This is my first trip and it was everything I expected.

we used this hotel for convenience before getting out of managua. not much to do or see in managua so the mall was a pleasant suprise.

is a very average hotel

I would highly recommend this hotel compared to the "Worst Western" across from the airport. I looked forward each day to coming back and using the pool. Front desk service was very responsive. Staff could have had a better command of the English language. The only problem I had was that my credit card was overbilled on check-out. The dining room was good but when ordering from the menu, what was brought from the kitchen did not always match up with what was on the menu. I will definitely stay at this hotel when in Managua

The free shuttle from the airport was nice. The property is very clean. All of the staff outside of the girl who checked us in were nice. However THEY HAVE THE WORST HOTEL BED I HAVE EVER SLEPT ON!The restaurant located directly behind the hotel is an awesome place to get a drink. When we go back to Managua we will most likely stay at the Hilton Princess. It has a better location and hopefully better beds.

I've stayed at the InterContinental REAL METROCENTRO MANAGUA several times when in Nicaragua. I have only had one bad experience there (a noisey party was going on)- I would recommend this hotel.

I had problems with the telephones at the rooms besides the carpet in my room was very dirty and the AC thermosthat did not work properly.

We had a great time beautiful hotel everyone very nice.

The hotel staff was amazing. Everyone from the front desk, bell staff and bar areas knew you by name. It reminded me of the days when hotels belived that customer service and prompt attention to detail were important. We have nothing but nice things to say about the hotel and its staff. My wife and I are in our 60 and well traveled. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Managua. This was our first trip to Managua and we could not have been more pleasantly surprised. The views are fabulous and the hotel itself had all the amenties that you would want or need for business or leisure.

It was fantastic, I enjoyed every minute I stayed there.

The consierge was involved in many at the same time tasks ie luggages, taxis, restaurants reservations, hotel reservations, directions etc. All with no computer available, no maps, no restaurants info, no hotels or resorts info or out dated info or incomplete info. This is not a complain it is only my description of what I saw.
