I booked the room for January 1st to 3rd and received a confirmation from Hotels.com. I've never had an issue with any Hotels.com booking. When I showed up to the hotel, the hotel said my dates were from January 2nd to 4th and told me to call Hotels.com, who proceeded to confirm my dates as correct. Nobody was taking responsibility. The worse issue was the hotel was all booked and so were all hotels in Mammoth. The Hotels.com rep promised to find me a room, but failed. I ended up sleeping on the couch of the hotel lobby on the first night since I had nowhere else to go. I appreciate the hotel for allowing me to sleep on the couch.
I got a room for my 2nd night. The room had renovated wooden floors and painted walls. The AC/Heat unit was old. It was either too hot or too cold.
If the parking is not plowed of snow, it would be a pain to park. I almost got stuck in the snow.
Location is very convenient to Mammoth. Shuttle stop is really close to hotel.
