Hotel location was great, staff and room were great. The breakfast was excellent with many hot and cold choices. Hotel service is excellent. Can walk to many great restaurants from hotel and short walk to ferry and bus stops.

Nice hotel with spacious facilities and helpful, friendly staff. We stayed in the executive tower room with ocean view and small balcony on floor 7. The view was great! The bathroom was very nice, but not designed for taller people. I'm 5ft 9 and my husband is 6ft 1. Had to bend over each time to see in the magnified mirror. It could easily br raised 2 feet. This might sound really trivial, but it's frustrating if staying there for a week. Also the bathroom shelving is down below at ground level. Minibar is replaced each day with complimentary water and wine. The rooftop pool deck is very nice but windy at times and closes before 5pm. Beware! The pool is not heated and this was very disappointing (how about using solar panels to heat it?) it was freezing and for those winter months, I can't imagine.. Our complimentary breakfast was fantastic, served downstairs 8-10:30am. The upper restaurant is really nice and serves good food. The hotel is in close proximity to the Sliema/Valletta ferry, about 5 mins walk. The shops are also close by. Overall, nice hotel, but in no way a 5 star.. We did enjoy our stay, but be aware of what you are looking for and if driving, use a GPS to locate it.

We stayed at The Palace during our entire stay in Malta. The hotel is located in a main attractions and very easy to get around. The rooftop pool was amazing. Would love to stay here again.

Initially we booked a place in Valetta and then the hotel canceled or reservation due to construction. We then chose this hotel. We would absolutely recommend staying in Sliema and not Valetta. Valetta was very crowded with tourists. Sliema was just across the bay and a lovely place to stay! The Palace is gorgeous and our view of Valetta from our room was spectacular! We had a couple of issues, but the staff took care of them and continued to want to make our stay the best. The breakfast was fantastic and the choices abound. Would highly recommend staying here!

I loved it. My friend stayed in St Julians and I stayed in Sliema. More to do as far as night life in St Julians, but very busy and noisy and crowded there. Sliema has a way more adult atmosphere. Great Asian restaurant in the hotel. I would MOST definitely return. Love love love!

we had a suite overlooking Valletta: very romantic and relaxing. everything was exactely as one would have wanted it. Couldn't aske for more!

This is a very nice hotel that I have stayed at many times. The Staff is good, the location is great for getting around Sliema and access to St Julian. The beds are good for a Euro hotel but average or less compared to most american brands, it is a cultural difference. The top floors have good views and the top deck pool and restaurant are great. Rooms are quirky modern but they work and you get used to them quickly. No iron or ironing board in room. The hotel I would definitely recommend but I will try not to use this travel site again. I had several problems /delays for this trip and every problem was made worse by their involvement.

Fancy hotel with friendly staff, located on a bit quieter street just steps from the seafront and restaurants/shops. Excellent and modern-decorated, bright rooms, great rooftop pool and rooftop restaurant/bar (excellent for night views on city while dining). Breakfast buffet is very good, there's an indoor pool, sauna, steam room, gym and spa. Downstairs cafe is very nice to have lunch or catch some sun over teatime (service a little slow but fine.) The lobby is comfy, they show daily weather forecasts and concierge helps with small issues, reservations, etc. There's free parking, only you have to pay for WiFi. It may be an expensive hotel but worth it, when you see what you get for your money. We were very happy!

Malta is a great holiday getaway. I stayed at the Palace Hotel in Sliema. The hotel was great. They offer you the local soft-drink of Kinnie while they check you into the hotel. The room had two single-beds and I asked for a one bed room and the staff was great and timely changing our room. The cleaning staff was very friendly. The hotel staff assisted with all questions. The Tempt-Asian restaurant offers a great panoramic view and the food is wonderful. The pool is amazing! While it is not in the capital it is a short walk into the downtown area where you can take daily ferries to Valetta. Paceville is nearby with a taxi if you want to experience the night-life of a cocktail and dancing at the clubs.

This hotel was beautiful! The pool was amazing. The staff was super friendly and they upgraded our regular room to a jr. suite which was perfect because we were on our honeymoon. The suite was PERFECT! The terrace had a great view of Sliema. The rooftop restaurant- TempAsia- was great and the day we were there, they had fireworks and it was just gorgeous!
