Madrid trip in a busy season. Hotel little pricey for the ammenities

Overall very nice hotel, clean and with great location. Breakfast was awesome except our last morning before departure - we asked for a packed breakfast as we had to leave to the airport before breakfast time. It was terrible! Tiny and and not sufficient even for a child. Clearly the hotel could do some more - it is not the first time I ask for this service from hotels I'm staying in

Hotel was great! The breakfast was the best and staff was always helpful and friendly. The only thing we didn't like was that we had to full beds that were put together:( but other than that we enjoyed the hotel.

Great location in La Gran Via, 2 metro station at walking distance, great service, if you choose the continental breakfast you won't regret it

The best places to visit are really close to the hotel. Great restaurants, shopping and museums

This was a beautiful hotel in a great location. However it was hard to find parking since its right in the middle of town. I would recommend it

good for shopping, good location for price, very clean.

The hotel is most conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and museums. The breakfast is very nice and the room is clean. Great value for money.

My husband and myself stayed in several countries during these 21 day vacation. However, we are giving Hotel Cibeles the best rate and we had a great experience as we stayed for 5 nights. The room vibe was very warm and comfortable. The bed and furnitres and bathroom were excellent...the location of the hotel was in the middle of the city and had a nice view. I will recommend Tyrip Cibeles to my other family members as well.

The location is excellent. But the night desk staff lacked friendliness upon check in. The first room I was assigned smelled of cigarette smoke and had the last guests bedding laid upon the credenza when I entered. I had to return to the front desk to get another room. At nearly midnight I was exhausted and really annoyed by this. The hotel is located right off the La Gran Via right across from a retail store named 'Lefties'-tell your taxi driver this because chances are they have no idea where this hotel is!!!

This hotel was in the perfect location-although the taxi driver drove in circles and then dropped me off across the intersection of where it actually was (I'm guessing because he really had no idea where it was). But outside of that-it's location is a stone's throw from La Gran Via-the gateway to Madrid. I was able to walk the entire city since every attraction is within walking distance from this hotel. The woman who staffed the front desk was cold to say the least.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I love it. The location is ideal, easily accessible to all the sights, and wonderful neighborhoods like Cheuca, Sol, and Malasana. Just a 15-20 minute walk to Palacio Real. Metro conveniently located, nearby stops are Gran Via and Callao. The staff very helpful, everyone I spoke with spoke English and helped me with any issues I had: lost key card, arranging a taxi to the airport. My rooms have been great, once you get past those hard European beds!!!! And Madrid!!!!! what a beautiful city, great attractions, great food!!!

Perfect Madrid Central Location. Walking distance to all. Very accomodating staff. Tryp Cibeles goes out of their way to make your stayb enjoyable.

This hotel is in a great location closed to shopping, subway station, and restaurants. It is between gran via and calloa subway stations. It has a security guard for 24 hrs. So, it made me feel safe.

We had a comfortable stay here on our recent trip to madrid. The staff was very polite and the room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception desk is on the first floor and the room service is outsourced to local restaurants so we had to go down to the restaurant next door for our morning coffee. Other than that we had a pleasant stay and the location is amazing, walking distance to most central sightseeing and shopping!

relatively cheap by Madrid standards, the best thing about the hotel is its location. It's a short walk to the Plaza del Sol and not too far from the Prado. Most things are within a stroll and a metro station is across the road. The room is a bit small by american standards, but it's Spain after all.

We loved the location of the Tryp Cibeles right off the Gran Via in close walking distance to the Plaza Mayor, Museums and shopping. The staff were not great about customer service and the wi-fi was poor in our room. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were nicely sized. One evening, we accidently broke a water glass and asked to have someone clean the fragments on the tiled floor. We were told that we could come get a broom from the front desk to clean up on our own. This was most unprofessional for a "4-Star" hotel. We also bought a "Family Room" room and was told they did not have any available when we arrived so was required to stay in a room with only 3 small twin beds. The location made the stay most enjoyable though. The hotel should work on their customer service in the future.

This hotel is either freshly renovated or extremely well kept. The room decor is simple and elegant, and the size is surprisingly large for a downtown hotel. Have earplugs ready if your room faces Gran Via. Other than the noise (which is hard to avoid in the city center) everything was just right - highly recommend it!

My familly and I really enjoyed our stay. The best thing about the hotel was the location. Staff very helpful and friendly.

It was excellent, the personal was very kind and effective helping us with direccions, tours or any thing we needed. The bus stop is at the corner of the hotel and the metro station is close too, just 5 minutos walking, very recomendable.
