NH Madrid Ribera del Manzanares4.0 out of 5.0

This hotel is out of place in this community. It is convenient for bus service but not walkable to most sights. In room coffee not provided for a standard room. We extended after a tour but would not stay here again if visiting Madrid.
The room is clean, confortable. Reception is very helpful. It is convenient to Atocha station by no.36 bus.
I stayed, by myself, at the NH Ribera del Manzanares for 8 days on a tourist visit to Madrid. I chose the hotel for its affordable rate and proximity to downtown Madrid. While its location isn't right in the middle of downtown, it is still within convenient walking distance, while also being in a quieter neighborhood and right along the beautiful river trail. The staff was patient with my rusty Spanish and helpful when I asked for a recommendation. The room was always spotless. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, except to sleep, as I was out and about in the city, so I can't speak too much to the amenities. I think the key factor in deciding if this is a hotel for you is whether you prefer to be right downtown, or in a little quieter neighborhood. It isn't the best location for those who want lots of shopping or restaurants and attractions right next door, except that it is very close to the Atlético Madrid stadium.
Everything was good, we travel with our 11 month baby an we ask for a childrens bed and they put everything for her. we were really happy staying there.!
This is a fantastic place close to the downtown and far from the loudness. The staff is great.
The food was great in the hotel restaurant. Would eat there again. Not close to the airport like we thot at leat 35 min with no traffic.
