We spent 2 nights in Madrid on a tour around northern Spain and were delighted to find such a central hotel that welcomed dogs (well behaved ones obviously!) and to the extent of providing dog beds in the rooms. The hotel itself is great and there are plenty of bars and restaurants located nearby, including a great cocktail bar and fabulous new burger bar called 'Meat'! Retiro Park is about a kilometre away and the hotel is close to the main shopping areas and 20 minutes stroll from the centre of town. Loved it!
It is a boutique hotel, every detail is taken care of. The breakfast is a must, it was delicious as it had many healthy choices. The entire place was clean and they will provide whatever information you will need, the receptionist helped us finding a taxi back to the airport.
We spent 6 wonderful nights at this stylish, friendly, environmentally conscious , and service oriented hotel. The rooms come with a complimentary laptop in the room for the guests use. The toilets and furnishings are modern. The breakfast selections are very healthy. The location is extremely convenient with immediate access to Alonso Martinez metro station, and within 20 minutes max walk to all the popular plazas and important museums. The staff at the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotels published motto is "arrive as a guest and leave as a friend...". Indeed it is true. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Madrid. Thx to all staff.
The hotel is about fifteen minutes from the centre and perfect for visiting the old town and surrounding districts. Room was fabulous, very clean and had all the facilities you would need. Staff were very helpful and the optional breakfast was comprehensive although it sounds expensive at 16 euros each, when you add up the various components and the unlimited food and drink, it works out as a good way of starting the day so that you can live on tapas for the rest of the day! If I were to return to Madrid, this is where I would stay,
We stayed here for 3 nights, staff were amazing and very helpful, hotel very clean and would definitely stay in another petit palace hotel.especially Pim who was extremely helpful at all times throughout our stay. Located very close to the underground station Alonso Martinez. We did choose to walk in Madrid as it was so easy to get around with our 9 year old son. Excellent trip!
Ive stayed in many hotels in Spain but this is by far the best hotel ive stayed in. The hotel is very clean, modern and the bed are excellent. The breakfast is very good with so many healty options. I looked forward every day to have breakfast and the staff in the breakfast area are super nice. The staff overall are very nice and are willing to help you with every information etc. I would highly recommend this hotel and it is practically flawless in my opinion :-)
It was a very nice day in Madrid, the hotel The Petit Palace Santa Barbara was 5 *****. The personal, the room, the service, breakfast. The hotel is very central, you can take the Metro where ever you want.
Lovely, clean, cozy hotel. Very friendly staff, good breakfast. Good location, quiet but lively neighbourhood, metro close and walking distance to Puerta Del Sol. The only inconvenience was low pressure in the shower at times. The lack of the view (4th floor) didn't brother us as we were sightseeing during daytime.
4 months after I stayed in the hotel for a city break I reentered for a business trip; perfect location; great personel especially Isabel was very friendly and helped me out several times. you can also have breakfast outside; close to the big parc for your morning run
I stayed at this hotel a year ago for business. I liked it so much, I wanted to stay there this time that I went with my family. I was not disappointed. The hotel is very well kept, clean and comfortable. Rooms are cozy (small), but big enough if you plan to enjoy the city and not spend too much time in your room. They offer very interesting amenities like free bikes, free MiFi (if you make the reservation directly through their website), etc. The breakfast is awesome. They have a very complete buffet that catered to all of my family's needs and desires (which is not easy). Location is very good, not in the city center and very close (walking distance) to all of the tourist sites (my family enjoys walking a lot in these types of cities). I will definitely stay there again on my next trip.
