Artistic B&B was great! It was in a lovely location, the rooms were clean and beautiful, and the staff were super welcoming and helpful. There were a lot of stairs, as mentioned, but they did not bother us! I am sure this was disclosed ahead of time, but I had expected a more traditional B&B service. The B&B service is purchasing an 8 euro pass for breakfast at a local cafe.

Staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The stairs will definitely help you get in shape! The area is wonderful - so many bars, restaurants, shops, museums, etc. It's easy to walk to just about anything you'd want to see in Madrid, and for the things more than a couple miles away, there's a metro stop super close by.
