Overall, we had a good stay. The whirlpool in the pool kept breaking down and was not working the 3 times I used the pool- very disappointing! I had even mentioned it to the front staff. The dinner deal meal was excellent- actually too much food but presentation was excellent! However we waited for over 20 minutes to try to get the attention of the server to get our bill to check out and then another 10 minutes after that to actually pay. Too few people working the very busy dining room. It would be nice to have another option for breakfast. My mother-89- eats very little and had a piece of toast with cheese and some cereal- this cost her 15.50. You may need to think about alternatives ( or a senior rate).
Booked a room through hotel website, in return we got a free drink at the bar. Room was a little bit different from the picture on the website, but exact same amenities. Enough place for 3 Girls on an reunion weekend. Bed was very soft, one of us really liked it very much, I like harder matrasses. Bathroom was big and very clean. Refrigirator and coffee machine for use. Coffee machine was very complicated and the explanation didn't help although it was from a good brand. We enjoyed diner, portions where large and price was ok. Friendly waitres. Breakfast had lots of lots of choices, from Healthy to just tastefull. Hotel is not in the city center but a 5 minute car drive brings you to a good parking place in a New and hot neighbourhood.
Carpaccio , beef stake and Varkensschnitzel are looks good but the taste is very bad and very rough. We wait very long for food and Dame blanc was too much for 1 person we are not enjoy eating here at all . Not recommend!!!!!!!!!
Far from the city ,, the room not that clean ,, all the hotel refurnished ,,, very nice welcome ,, the staff are helpful.... Free parking ,,, some of the old has used , like the bathroom sinks..... the bed not convertible ..
Everything was perfect from arrival until departure. Quick check-in/out, helpful staff ( Julia and an older blond women) advising us good places to visit/eat, bicycle, booked a massage... Very good moment at the restaurant the first night with a good St Emilion. The Wellness center and massage were really relaxing. The room was big, clean and the sparkling wine delicious. Breakfast buffet was amazing, the food was fresh and orange juice excellent. Only - point: wind noise when the entrance door is closed.
Menu in restaurant should also be translated in english. Also difficult to speak english with a lot Of your employes. Good hotel location and nice suite. Also enjoy great meal at dîner and breakfast. Bubbles in the spa were out of order
Rooms on the highway side are too noisy. Only if you pay more, you may have room less noisy even if also in some of this room the noise is made by air conditioning system. The receptionist too young and not good
Firstly the communal areas and the actual bedroom was quite good however my two day stay was spoiled by very irritating issues. Firstly on my first night as 11.30pm! construction work complete with pneumatic drills, trucks and reversing sirens began on the new road next to the hotel. This ceased at about 3am only to start again at 6am. I complained next morning but was told there had been no warning from the site about this but they assured me it was the final night of roadworks. Sure enough next night no noise from the road but at 6am there it was again. Also for some reason there are what appear to be search lights all around the hotel which shine into the rooms completely illuminating the room. Whilst i appreciate the road issues are temporary and beyond the control of the hotel, issues like the lights have been highlighted previously but no action taken. Overall could not recommend.
SPA is Ok, but there is no one taking care of it; Sauna accepts kids so is very noisy. There is no minibar at the room; also, the lights that illuminate the building does not let your room get dark. In the week days the roadworks starts early so you cannot sleep further than 7-8 am. Overall uneven experience. Most annoying was the reserve made on my credit card upon arrival (2x the stay); it looked like they think you're not going to pay.
A very nice hotel with spacious rooms and friendly staff, very clean in general and in an area close to MECC. Fine dining in the large and comfortable restaurant. The breakfast was excellent, also. Only negative issue: No bathrobes in the room...
