We booked this hotel for a city-trip: to visit Maastricht. We arrived quite early (around 11 am) but were already allowed access to our room which was nice. Reception was friendly. The room however was below expectation and looked more like a room from a budget-hotel. It was quite small and rather outdated and also quite warm. The air-conditioning didn't do much. The bed was good however. Location was oke within walking distance but paying for parking didn't make sense to me that far from the town-center. The breakfast was not included but good.

We booked a two night stay at this hotel via Groupon, including breakfast and a three course dinner. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the very friendly staff. Though we arrived pretty early that day, we could get into our room. The room itself was pretty spacy, well equipped and modern enough. We had a big bed, a sofa, TV, bath tub, separate toilet, even a music box with Bluetooth. Free shampoo, magazines, even candy was to be found. The staff was super nice to us. They speak a very good English and must of them even speak German. We didn't have a lot of requests, but were helped with everything. The breakfast and also the dinner are highly recommendable. There is a huge range of food to choose from for the breakfast, including freshly prepared eggs, omelette... There is also fruit, cake, some very typical Dutch foods. Tea and coffee is included, just as juices. The restaurant serves fresh high quality food at moderate prices. The hotel is located outside the city center. There is a free bus shuttle you can use, that will take you to several places, which are all ideal to start your adventures from. There is a fee for the parking lot you have to pay in advance. It's not very cheap, but still fair if you compare it to the public parking fees in the city. We were very happy to know our car is in a save spot. What I really appreciated was not having to take stairs to get to our room. There are two lifts, which was nice for me at about 25 weeks pregnant. Some things that the hotel offers include a nice bar, a cozy lobby with lots of different sitting facilities, a kid-friendly play area for the little ones, an outdoor pool, you can even play video games in the lobby. Wi-Fi is free of charge too. We felt great during our stay at this hotel and will return again soon.

This a good place to be the hotel is nice with a good service, pool, table tennis , PlayStation, etc etc The restaurant is good the chef is great the dessert is unbelievable especially mousse chocolate 🍫

Hi All, we stayed at the Novotel in order to attend a Andre Rieu concert. The hotel were absolutely fabulous with providing transport to Maastricht by the Hotel mini bus and providing a coach to and from the concert. The hotel staff were fine and informative, the room comfortable and very clean. No problem with hot water at any time of the day. The hotel had a outdoor swimming pool which was good for the kids although we personally did not use it. We had a hire car and chose the Hotel because the on site parking although we had to pay to park. If we should ever get the chance to visit Maastricht again we would not hesitate to book the Novotel.

I stayed at Novotel Maastricht twice and it has been very nice experience both time. The hotel has nice and clean rooms. The breakfast served is nice and they have good variety. The exceptional part of the hotel is the excellent service: - Once I have to reschedule my non-changeable booking and hotel staff was courteous to change it - Secondly I forgot my tablet in the locker and they shipped it to me the next day with right packaging and insurance I will definitely stay here on my next visits.

Maastricht is a beautiful town, lots of cozy places and streets, also nice for shopping or drinking coffee and watching people passing by. Maastricht is my favorit, Amsterdam is not as charming as Maastricht. The Novotel in Maastricht offers a relaxing stay. We loved the quiet atmosphere in tje morning while taking our breakfast. Nice breakfast buffet until 11 AM. The very friendly staff speaks at least Dutch/English/German and/or French. Hotel rooms are in need of a renovation, they are no longer state of the art, yet very clean and prepared with love.

Stayed for 1 night as part of Andre Rieu package...hotel is ideally placed being just a short drive from the venue. Staff are warm and welcoming and very helpful. Booked the pre-show buffet, excellent choice and standard of food for 30 euro's, just a bit disappointed the price did'nt run to a cup of coffee......

An average Novotel. No surprise, excellent bed, good shower, good breakfast. Friendly staff, with the exception of the barmaid this day.. . A bit far from city center (walking), but they offer shuttle service.

Good place to stay but dont expect haut cuisine. Dinner OK but average choice and very slow service. Large open air carpark which one has to pay for which seems expensive for outdoor parking. Probably would not book there again.

The hotel needs to be refreshed, thats the first thing. Other than that it resembels Ibis hotels in terms of rooms and facilities. The breakfast is almost identical. Well, I would expect some mor from 4 star hotel: that is, better breakfast, some souna and less cheap finish of the room and bathrooms. However, there is a great garden/patio which lets you to eat and drink in nice, quite atmosphere. If you still need to get somewhere else in the area, its also nicley located just by major roads. And the value for money is ok so I will come back though. Just expected a little bit more.
