I stayed at this hotel as I was taking part in a cycle event near by. The hotel was perfect for the stay, the staff we were all very friendly and helpful. We arrived with bikes and there was no problem about taking them to the room. Dinner at the hotel was perfect and the buffet breakfast ideal for the day of cycling ahead. It must be a good hotel as a number of the top cycling teams were staying there too. For Maastricht itself the hotel is about 30-40 minutes away from the centre where all the restaurants are bars are located. Again, the hotel staff were very helpful on suggesting where to go on the Saturday evening for a meal out. I would come back again. The rooms were clean & comfortable and perfect for our stay. There is car parking on the road outside which you need to pay for although Sundays its free but there is another car park right next to the hotel.
We came here for a day in maastricht with the family..Everything was clean and looks nice..the staff is very friendly..The price is good and you get worty for your money..We will be back soon for a nother night..
I stayed in a superior new look room for teo nights. The installations are modern and clean. You have a bar and restaurant and another restaurant in. The room was spacious, bright and with a good bathroom. The amenities are basic but good. You can always ask for more at the reception and they'll be pleased to give you more. Special mention to the staff, so helpful, professional and kind (reception, cleaners and bar staff). The only improvement point is the internet which is slow unless you want to pay for it.
Stayed at NH Maastricht two years in a row as part of the Andre Rieu travel package for his summer concerts. Friendly and helpful staff; clean rooms; good continental breakfast selection (late service available due to concerts, including check-out time). As part of the travel package the hotel bar remains open late for post concert drinks on return. There is a bus stop outside the hotel or alternatively you can get a taxi into the city. Only a 5 minute walk from Maastricht Randwyck train station.
I have been staying here once a year for over ten years now and thte welcome I receive from the staff is genuine. My room was upgraded this year to a room with a bath and a long soak after a wearisome day was most welcome. The food in the restaurant is reasonably priced and varied. Allow yourself plenty of time to enjoy the very copious breakfast!
my wife and I have stayed at NH Hotel in Maastricht for many years and find the staff very friendly and helpful. They receive and deliver important documents and packages to the room without problems and are always willing to make restaurant reservations, even those not in the hotel. All services in the hotel from restaurant and bar to parking and massages are as advertised.
Conveniently located to university medical departments, close to city centre and very friendly staff. The room - junior suite, nice size for three family members and clean! The breakfast selection is good!
Had been to this hotel as part of business trip and had a very good experience. The breakfast spread was really good and had loads of options. The rooms are also spacious and clean. The bus stand is opposite to the hotel from where you get buses to and from town center
The hotel is next door to the convention center. There is very convenient underground parking connected to the hotel. The room was clean but very cold when I entered. Heating is via radiator and it took several hours to warm up. There is no AC so in the summer the rooms are unpleasantly hot. We had a very good meal in the dining room and prices were reasonable. A serious drawback however is its location far from anything other than the MECC.
I don't think it deserves 4 stars. I will start with the pros: spacious room, excellent breakfast(I even found sourdough bread in the menu which is a rare thing,at least from my exprerience). Cons: cleanliness-let's say is not what I would expect from a 4 star hotel, the heat wasn't working properly so the low temperature in the room made us feel uncomfortable(although they tried to fix the problem when we complained at the reception we still had not enough heat), the location is a little bit far from the centre of the town-this can also be a pro as it's very close to the railway station and the Forum.Overall it was a good stay..
