All was good except the gluten free breakfast that should be improved (poor gluten free quality). The room was confortable and very quiet. Numerous and good quality products in the bathroom. The surroundings are pleasant with plenty of restaurants just next to the hotel.

A quite hotel that offers the best of Holiday Inn with great rooms and friendly staff. Great views over the park and very well connected by public transport. Only 10 mins on the bus from Gare de Lyon. The breakfast room is to small for this size of hotel and the bar even smaller. The bar menu us good with good beer and wine.

The Hotel Crowne Plaza Lyon - Cite Internationale is an excellent place to stay while in Lyon. The staff at the desk gave me a warm and friendly welcome. I got a very nice room. The breakfast simply delicious. I'll come back next time when back in Lyon. Thank you so much, Merci beaucoup.

Nothing to add Very professional, good service, good languages and they try to think with you to get a good solution . The location is nice but far from the city centre . But the view on the Rivera was nice aswell.

This is my third stay here in the past year, and I choose to return as I find both the staff and the property are consistently excellent. The rooms are always clean and well maintained, and offer extra conveniences such as charging and electrical ports for various international power plugs. Also. the in-room TVs are capable of letting you wirelessly broadcast your own content directly from some devices, which is great for Netflix, YouTube etc. The hotel is directly on the bus routes, so getting in and out of Lyon is quick and simple (and the Park across the street is convenient for when you want some down time). There is also a Velo bike station very close, which is a good way to travel into the city. You should note that there are not really any grocery stores or shops nearby within strolling distance, so if you wish to go shopping you'll need to plan out where to travel to. All of the staff I have met were extremely professional, friendly, approachable and more than willing to help answer any questions (in many languages to boot!) you might have. I usually stay for about a week at a time a few times per year, and have always had positive experiences here.

Very convenient locationiIf you have meetings in conference center, but outside of city. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Very friendly staff, nice room, good amenities. Food from room service was below average.

Stayed 2 nights. The rooms wide and clean, comfortable bed and free WiFi. Staff is nice and helpful. Good location, underground parking (with extra pay). Definitely recommended with great value for money.

...and this was a pleasant surprise. My company has just changed travel providers and CP's are preferred hotels. Ordinarily I would not have chosen to stay here but having done so I can report a pleasant experience. Modern building , great views over a park one side and the river on the other and a warm welcome at reception. The hotel was undergoing some repairs and reception made sure my room was as far away as possible. The room was well laid out with everything a business traveller needs. I ate in the hotel restaurant and again service and food were excellent. Note : this hotel is a little way from the city centre / business districts but public transport is good and the park opposite the hotel is large with a 'Central Park' feel to it. A great walk to work if you have the time / energy. Overall a good experience

Back to Crowne Plaza Lyon after one year, woaw I have been stunned by the recognition of the staff at Reception. They remembered me. The lobby and Bar are really looking great. The Brasserie @BRG is serving local French cuisine. I am a cheese fan & really enjoyed the hot Saint Marcelin served in a cocotte with a green salad. Enjoy it with a glass of viognier. Easy thrill! I had a ray "a la Grenobloise" . Excellent cooking (not too much) This.restaurant worth to come if tou are attemding a convention or a show at the Cité Internationale.

Okay I have stayed here several times for work and I "usually" like it very much. BUT NOT THIS TIME. I hope it was just a one time thing; let me explain: the hotel is next to a convention centre. So normal that lots of the guests do have something to do with anything happening there. It all started at check in; the front desk guy kinda 'dropped' us for at least 5 minutes, as there was another guest who needed some attention. Good, after work we returned to the hotel to find the lobby JAMPACKD with people waiting to check in. At the moment there were only 2 (extremely stressed out) people working the front desk. I mean it was SO bad that we hardly could reach the elevator to get to our floor. Once in my room I noticed that something was broken/missing. So I tried to call the front desk. NO RESPONSE. Tried at least 7 times and finally got one lady (sounding extremely stressed) on the phone. I explained to her what I needed and she told me that "housekeeping" was closed already. It was just 6pm??? A hotel of this caliber should - i think- have at least one attendant. Anyway she said she did not have the time (as she was dealing with problems at the reception) for me…..Tried to explain that it was not very respectful to me as - me too- was a paying guest. That changed her tune a bit. She was going to "see what she could do for me" but that might take a while. And a while it did: had to call her at least another 3 times to remind her and after waiting for almost 2 hours the (first) problem was resolved. At night I was woken up by people slamming the doors, screaming in the hallway and smoking on the emergency stairs (this hotel is a non smoking one). Me and some of my friends called the front desk to ask them to see what was happening, but apparently nothing was done to it as the noise continued to the middle of the night. Next morning VERY surprised faces at the front desk when we complained: they had no idea what we were talking about.…. Okay I mean; when such big reservations are expected, I would think a hotel would either have more staff at hand, have a special desk for such large group so that "other" guests would get the same service as expected. leo because of that group the entire restaurant was closed that night. That would not be a big issue as there ar plenty more near the hotel, but being the winter many close early. Saying this I like the location (great park next to the hotel) several restaurants and bars, nice surrounding to walk or run, pleasant rooms, double insolation so very little traffic noise when the windows are closed. Great facilities as expected from the Crowne Plaza chain. I know from previous times that the restaurant and room service are really great. Near the hotel art museum and YES a movie theater showing the movies in its original language. I can only hope that next time I will be as happily surprised by the service of this hotel as I have been previous times.
