We needed a place to just sleep for a few hours on a road trip and I booked this through AARP. I usually prefer to stay at chains, knowing what I will get, but this looked decent and was affordable, so I took the chance. We arrived late (10 pm) and thankfully the check-in was quick and easy. We were very pleased with the room - spacious, clean, and a brand new AC unit, and miraculously it did not have the typical hotel room funky smell! The bed was comfortable, and the mini-fridge was perfect for the few beverages and other items from our cooler, as well as re-freezing our ice packs for the next day. We checked out at 5 a.m. so there is not much else to review, but it was definitely a pleasant surprise for a privately owned place right off the I-95 exit. I would stay there again if in the area.

Very basic. No breakfast. Shabby, but clean and a good location if you're just passing through on route 95. We stopped because of limited availability as people drove back to New England from Florida.

We stopped for the night on our way to VA and had a room that was dog friendly ($29 charge small dogs only) with a king size bed. Room was on first floor and recently remodeled. The bed was perfection and my husband and I both woke up refreshed. Would definitely stay there again on our way to Richmond. You can hear the highway noise some but I sleep with earplugs so was not an issue for me.

This is a great place to stay. Nice rooms, clean, free wifi, tv, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and smoking as well as non smoking rooms. I stopped just looking for a place to stop for the night but I think I will also stop on my way back. Definitely added to my will stay again list

These people even book through Travelocity and STILL SCAM!!! I was booked through Travelocity at $47. When I arrived at 9:PM (blurry eyed and exhausted after driving for 13 hours!) the owner "Sam" claimed I had no reservation, stating "Your reservation was cancelled." I had to ask repeatedly, "BY WHO???" before he finally said, "By me." (he had cancelled it!) I contacted Travelocity, they to me to asked "Sam" if there was anything still available that night and he stated, "No, we have nothing available." Travelocity then checked their system showing 2 rooms were actually showing as available! Travelocity then contacted Sam directly, and was told "Yes, I can book a reservation with two rooms available. (BUSTED!!!) Travelocity made arrangements for a room at $79 and was going to credit the difference of my payment back to my credit card, but "Sam" doesn't accept payment through Travelocity, only at their front desk at time of check in, therefore, no credit back. I refused to stay at their hotel, and demanded Travelocity find another hotel for me at the original rate. I was moved to a much nicer hotel and it was wonderful! Thank God for Travelocity stepping in and booking me into another hotel!!! I am filing a complaint with the North Carolina Attorney Generals' Office against these people and their outrageous scam on the public!!!

This was a great place for us to stop for the night without paying an unnecessary high room rate. Very clean with good beds and close to the highway for $54. Can't beat that. It's an older motel but in better condition than some of the newer ones.

We stayed here during a road trip, all that was needed was a quick place to rest our heads before continuing on. We arrived at around 11pm and reception were very friendly and efficient. The room was clean, tidy and everything worked as expected. They had even left some water out. Slept soundly in the beds and left early in the morning. For this price we couldn't have asked for anything more. A great stay!

We stopped in for a bed, the price fit our budget. We were quoted $74 because it was a weekend because it was two double beds. There is qite a bit of difference between an advertised $47 and $74. It's an older motel, we didn't stay

Nothing to say, really. This hotel is conveniently located near I95. It provides a clean and comfortable place to sleep while driving to Florida from the mid-Atlantic area. Great service from the hotel manager.

The hotel is reasonably priced, the room was clean and the manager is friendly. The rooms come with a micro and small refrigerator. The hotel is an older style with the walkways on the outside. They do not offer an on-site breakfast. The rooms are a somewhat on the smallish side. There is no closet but there is a small place to hang clothes. The hotel offer WiFi but there are only 4 connections available for the hotel although I didn't have a problem getting a slot the connection was pretty slow. I couldn't do much more than have a Skpe call and even then it dropped the connection half a dozen times in a 10 minute call.
