Another nothing fancy hotel but the. I am not paying top dollar for a place to sleep. Tv, microwave, refrigerator in room. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I really prefer their laminate flooring over the questionable carpet you find in many places. Perfect place after a long day of travel.
This hotel advertises a continental breakfast and when asked about it, they say "no no we don't have a breakfast." If they do have a restaurant here it looks like they do not open it. It also appears from the outside that many rooms have been so damaged by flooding that the sliding curtains have bonded to window making it unmovable without destroying it. I would assume they don't use those rooms. My room has mold around the door frame and the carpet is so dirty my feet stick to it. The staff is plenty nice except one of them doesn't understand English very well. But the niceness of the staff doesn't make up for the terrible room and service. I think it's unacceptable to advertise a continental breakfast and then not provide it.
This place is horrible. If I could rate lower I would. WE WERE GREETED BY CATS ON THE TABLES WHERE YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO HAVE YOUR CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST AS WELL AS ON THE DESK! We checked in and our room was filthy and in disarray! The sink and light are falling off the wall as well as the towel rack. The ceiling is crumbling. There are piles of garbage everywhere outside! The people who stay there live there and run around all night yelling, arguing and honking their horns. The wifi does not work and there is NO continental breakfast as advertised. The people that run the place are rude and act like they have a great place. The take NO responsibility for the place. I would NEVER stay here even for free. There are drug deals going on and people coming and going all night. I called the health department to report this hotel. I called hotels.com who I booked through and they called the hotel to try to get a refund but they refused. Never again,I hope this review helps others who may be thinking of this place. I have pictures to back this up. Go somewhere else.
ABSOLUTELY NASTY AND UNSAFE. Its impossible to rate this place as low as id like to, but if you're a meth head or other addict, its your nirvana. My wife and i were there 20 minutes, and ate the 50 bucks, and left. In 10 minutes, our car was scouted by 2 separate individuals, drug deals happening in the open, one of which, directly behind my car, keeping in mind the short time we were there. A room upstairs was being used for drug sales, clearly watch people drive in, go up, and go out, and leave. Room was nasty and stinky. Hotel was old and very unkept. Cats on the front counter and tables where breakfast is supposed to be served. we called the front desk for a couple extra towels, and got an attitude and told no, there was already 2 in there. Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT stay here. Worst hotel ive ever seen, and im from Detroit, so.......
The Inn is very old. Not kept up at all. When we got there, there were 2 cats in the lobby on the counter and on the tables where "breakfast" to be served. No restroom available in lobby, even though there is a "restaurant" next door. When we got to it room it smelled musty. The sink counter was falling down, no cover over the light fixture, no clothes rack, tiles in bathroom falling down. Never again will I stay in a "no name" hotel.
This is definitely not a fancy place. The hotel needs remodeling, however the owners are incredibly nice people and the room was immaculately clean. It does really need remodeling but I can see how difficult it would be to come up with the money to do so. There is damage to some of the ceiling as well as being decorated from the '80's. The room I stayed in was a bit run down but very clean. (Yes, I did check for bedbugs.) The beds were good as well as having good pillows and a very clean shower that has great water pressure. The owners have 3 cats in the office, which means to me that they are good people.) I would recommend this as an economical place to stay, especially to help the family that owns this to be able to afford to remodel. (Just don't expect a fancy room.)
This place was so gross I slept at the next rest area. There was standing water in the tub, and mold on the curtain. The bed had blood stains and holes. The pool was black with water bugs. The steps had missing concrete and rusty metal edges. The curtains were ripped and some of the rooms were boarded up. The AC doesnt work and the faucets shoot water out when you go to wash your hands. This is truly one of the worst hotels i went to in my life. I posted some pictures to prove it just wish they came out better.
We stopped here when travel back to Florida from New Jersey. I could not believe the condition of the room - drape over window falling down, air conditioner torn away from the wall, bathroom caulking was black with mold, room smelled moldy - everything looked like it was dirty and falling apart. I am surprised the Board of Health allows it to stay open. Needless to say we requested a refund and went elsewhere.
rooms are falling apart .holes in the sheets cigarettes holes on the bedspread wallpaper coming off the wall. stains on the carpet and walls. Heater very noisey. Room smells. I didn't expect the Hilton but neither did I expect this.I can't believe people gave this a decent score.and they had the nerve to charge an extra $10 for the do g. I would have left except at 7 o'clock at night its hard to find another place that allows dogs. I would not recommend this to anyone.
I needed a motel that accepted pets and most of them don't, so I booked here, fearful due to some of the bad reviews. BUT let me tell you! It was the cleanest room, crispy sheets, microwave and refrigerator - all worked. Immaculate bathroom! No stains on the bedspread. Beds were comfortable and the tv worked without a hassle! I have paid way more and got way less! And the well-groomed fat kitty cat in the lobby was a comforting thing - not a put-off. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
