We were on an extended trip and this was by far our favorite stop. Great room, great breakfast and great customer service. I highly recommend this hotel and will plan to stay there anytime I am in the area.
We stayed here in 2015. This time we had a king suite, which was roomier, on the third floor. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast included eggs, meat, biscuits and gravy, and lots more. I wish they could put in some shades in the breakfast dining room because the morning sun is BRIGHT BRIGHT BRIGHT.
This is a nice hotel. The room was clean and spacious and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. I've seen a lot of bad reviews for their breakfast but I thought it was fine. I've had better but I've certainly had worse. I'm only giving this hotel 4 stars, and granted I might be nitpicking, the lady who checked us in didn't inform us when and where breakfast takes place and where the elevator is. You know, the basics. There were no other customers waiting to be checked in, so really there was no excuse for her to skip these things. There are plenty of places to eat around there. I would definitely stay here again.
My *only* complaints are that the shower doesn't spray hard on the third floor and the ac doesn't reach into the bed "nook" in the king suites. The ac blows fine but it only blows straight and the bed is over to the side so if you're like me, and want to be cool at night, I might ask for a different layout for your room :-)
After driving 800 miles we looked forward to soaking in the hot tub. For the third time it was out of service. We were very disappointed again. This hotel is conveniently located on the long drive we take several times a year. We would really like to be able to use the hot tub since it advertises a hot tub. It seems to us that it is always being serviced.
Nice friendly staff for breakfast Nice selection for breakfast with good coffee.. nice omelette. Good value when visiting the Vineyards of Terry County. Many nearby places to eat. Clean large rooms. Good TV Service
Breakfast was not up to normal standards for Holiday Inn. Biscuits were dried out and like hockey pucks. Pastries were obviously left overs. Food not hot . No bacon. Water pressure in rooms was very low. Employees have a non helpful attitude . This is the worst experience we've had at a Holiday Inn .
We were given a very warm welcome by Yolanda when we arrived. She had our reservation and our room was ready. This appears to be a fairly new hotel so everything is in good order. The room was large and very clean. Everything was great until we went to breakfast. It consisted of the usual Holiday Inn Express fare with one major exception. Most all of the hot items appeared to have been reheated several times. The sausage was dried out, the eggs were ice cold. The signature cinnamon rolls were at least one day old if not more. The apple juice was plain water with no hint of apple in it. We have booked a stay at another HIE on this trip. Expecting MUCH better!
Had three rooms for a family trip to Ruidoso. Third room was added at the last minute and Manny was as good with that as Caroline was when I made the first reservations. Friendly and super efficient at the desk. Breakfast was way above and beyond normal. Would highly recommend.
Nice, clean and quiet place in this small town. I don't have much to say about the hotel itself and much as the town. The hotel was GREAT! The town doesnt offer much to eat around the hotel except for your basic fast food places. We went to a local bar while in this town and they wouldn't serve us. "You boys ain't from 'round here are ya?"..Yeah, it was weird. Hotel, was awesome though.
