Cockroach in the room settled the otherwise shavby impression that this hotel made. We moved iut after two days and went to the JW Marriott where we had an incredibly different experience. Apparently the hotel investment is written off and not it is just used to milk money out of unsuspecting toursists. The rooms are dated. The linnen with yellow stains. The one good thing is how helpful the staff was to get us out of our booking. If your time is valuable to you: find a different hotel.

The resort was very clean and the staff very welcoming and helpful. The very large pool was clean and never crowded. We never had a problem finding beach or pool chairs. Enjoyed watching the planes land right next to the resort! Many good restaurants within a two block radius. We never spend money on a rental car during our stay here.

We had such a wonderful stay that I just had to leave a review. The location is perfect—within walking distance of shops, restaurants, entertainment, and Maho Beach. The accommodation was spotless and featured a fully equipped kitchen, which is great if you prefer to cook. While it is very close to the runway, we absolutely loved it; watching the planes land is a spectacular sight! The flights stop around 7 PM, making the evenings very peaceful, so there's no need to worry about your sleep being disrupted. Last but not least, the staff are incredibly friendly. We had a lovely time and highly recommend this place!
