Recent guest reviews

Our only two complaints are Not even choices of restaurants and they weren’t open enough. There was times there were no options to eat because everything was closed. The air conditioning was not working well.

We stayed on the family side and really great place for both kids/adults. The staff are wonderful and always willing to help, probably more than any other island I’ve been too. Also, the amenities are pretty good. I will say that food options can be limited although it’s an all-inclusive. There are many other shops and restaurants around the area but you will have to come out of pocket. Lastly, my only real complaint is that the beds and bedding left me underwhelmed, I would suggest asking for extra pillows.

Do not go expecting great service. No one is eager to assist you, no matter how much you tip. Good luck getting a cup a coffee at breakfast let alone a refill.

The Sonesta was on well-kept grounds in a prime location. However, although in such a beautiful place, the staff (with a few exceptions) did not seem to like their jobs or to wait on people, especially in the dining areas. We also had issues with the hot water in our room and when we went to the front desk (after the third time to get it fixed) and asked for some sort of accommodation, we were met with rolling eyes. Ok to stay if you are looking for a no-frills vacation.

The property itself was a joy to stay and accessible to the beach was amazing but the communication from the service staff wasn’t consistent. Also, the process for the Covid exam could’ve been better organized, it took two hour out of our day.

Some staff were extremely helpful and welcoming like Rosheshemar but the service was inconsistent. There was never a manager around and most employees seemed like they were lost and hadn’t been trained. The room was clean and the servers in the restaurants were very friendly but the food was awful so we ate out all the time. You had to find things on your own because the tiny photocopied map of the resort was illegible. If you are looking for the all Inclusive resort experience this isn’t it. If you need a decent and clean place to stay while site seeing the beautiful island then go for it.

Nice little resort. Food was great and staff was friendly and pleasant. Beach description is a little off as there are no loungers and the balcony was a nice touch but did smell like sewage since it faced vacant land. Overall, not bad for the price. Would visit again.

Property was very clean taking into account everything with Covid-19. Staff very friendly!

Resort was great..rooms are spacious, updated and clean, good food and service. Pool had water slides for kids and great beach access. No complaints about the resort.

Best vacation specially with this pandemic i love how strict they are going and leaving st maarten if you are planning a trip make sure you print out the approval and your cov testing lab report it makes the trip easier trust me or else they would not let you in the airport. It was a safe trip.

Place was truly amazing. Staff is phenomenal, resort was clean, an location was great to see the planes come in an take off incase that’s your thing. Food was great. I would recommended paying the extra dolla an book ocean point (it is adults only) since they have top shelf liquor an a extra restaurant name azul which has a beautiful scenery an amazing food. But maho I loved for the family an open lay out

We have indicated on our website, in multiple locations that "in accordance with local health and safety guidelines, some facilities and services may be limited until further notice." The operation of our resorts, including entertainment and restaurant hours is limited but we do see more facilities and services opening up in accordance to health regulations.
