What is good: the staff are friendly and the hotel is conveniently located next to the airport, you can watch planes landing and take off all day at Maho beach.
Not so good: the food is not great, the hotel is dated in need of nenovation, the beds are not comfortable (at least my room),stations are minimally staff so waiting for a burguer, a hot dog, etc., I don’t drink much but the options were not that good either.
Conclusion: food in the island is expensive, if you are on a budget or want to minimize spending this may be a good option though the food option will not wow you. Getting a car is recommended if you like to explore, taxis are expensive and other than the airport there is not a lot close by. The buffet at the end became a good option for ok meals, we did not like the italian restaurant, the asian always had a long wait time, we gave up on it. The Mexican was ok, we went once and did not come back. The hotel can also use more entertainment through out the day and at night. I must say that the shows that were offered were good.
