My stay went well because of the company, but honestly, the hotel left a lot to be desired. It was not explained that despite being an all-inclusive resort, different rooms have access to different amenities (i.e. in-room minibar, room service). It wouldve been nice if that was clear when I booked, as I could've made an informed decision. Also, my bathoom door was broken and it took 5 requests over 2.5 days for them to fix it. The cleaning staff also left a lot to be desired as well, as towels and cloths were not replaced, just the beds remade. The food however, was good. The staff that I encountered was always courteous, with the exception of the one older gentleman at the front desk.

Very good hotel, excellent service, very nice, different restaurants, excellent food. Angela at the front desk was excellent; she took great care of us. The staff who served us in the restaurants were very kind and friendly, especially Nicole from the Dominican Republic. The only thing I didn't like was that the security guard at the Ocean Point resort was very rude to us when we wanted to take a picture in the lobby. They should be more professional and friendly because one understands that you can't enter that area if you're at the other resort, but we only wanted to see the lobby to see if we would stay there next time. She was very rude in telling us we couldn't enter and not even take a picture. This is a very negative point for tourists like us who are spending a lot of money and shouldn't be discriminated against like that security guard did to us.

Great stay! I came to see the planes land and take off over Maho Beach. The entire staff was courteous and attentive. Although the stand out was Carlos he was only at the Oasis bar one day but remember us the rest of our stay and always asked if there was anything he could do to make it better. May be back to try the Sonesta Ocean Point for the adults only

I have stayed here each year since 2019. Easy parking $10 per night with access 24 hours. They have multiple restaurants on location and even a bar upstairs with burgers, fries until 1am. If you want an all inclusive location this is it. They have the casino in the lobby as well as across the street. I like the daytime activities better in Phillipsburg by the port on the boardwalk as that beach is natural. They dredge Maho each morning and the drop off is pretty severe in my opinion. The rooms are really clean and they just made a private bar/dining area on the 9th floor that has amazing views of the sunset and/or airport. The staff is always friendly and if you need to check in early you can use the amenities while you wait on your room. This is a huge bonus for me as check out time is 11am and my flight usually doesn't depart until 5pm so I can still hang out, eat/drink rather than sitting at the airport.

I stayed here for my 30th birthday. I travel a lot and this was one of the worst resorts I have ever stayed at. My friends and I was eating dinner and literally a roach crawled across my friend plate. Later on that night we had to call maintenance because we had a big roach in our room and we is terrified of roaches but to add salt to injury I had money in my wallet inside my purse on the table. I had just checked my purse to get my lipgloss and closed my Wallet and purse and hid it under other things on the table. We proceeded to go to the pool for a couple hours. When we left our room the room wasn’t cleaned. We came back from the pool the room was cleaned and my money was missing from my wallet. When we made the report the manager was sooo nasty towards us saying it was my fault we didn’t use the safe. As much as i travel I have NEVER used the safe and my things have NEVER been stolen until now. So he was pretty much saying all of our stuff is up for grabs. When i talked to the bigger boss he told me he is aware of the thefts on the resort but they can’t blame the workers because they can get sued. So we don’t matter the people who is paying for this resort and keeping it open. You know it’s thefts happening from your workers and you can’t do nothing about it. I loved Sint Maarteen but this resort will never get my money again. Staff is rude as well.
