Great hotel with nice staff. They were very helpful except with check-in time!
It doesn't feel like a Westin. Old smelly rooms! No nice water jar on lobby or coffee! They do have a little gift shop selling water for $5 a bottle.
Very helpful staff. Great location. Good amenities.
It's certainly a great location. But if you work late, the kitchen closes about 10:30pm. That means you'll be going for a walk to get some food. At that time of night, the vagrants are everywhere. It's not the "Westin" experience that I'm used to.
Nice atmosphere. Good pool. Late check out on Sunday's.
Very nice hotel , the only incovinence was that the pool was close due a renovation and we are Not inform
The hotel was great. Nice and clean and great experience
Took my partner to Long Beach for his birthday weekend and was pleasantly surprised at how nice a stay this was for such a big hotel. We normally stay at boutique hotels for the added service, fun, and friendliness, but the Westin was just as nice!
We stayed here and loved it the staff was great! We were able to do early check in since we finished our cruise and was off sooner then we thought. It is really close to the pike, which there is a lot to do to kill time and great places to eat. You would not regret your stay here.
Wonderful staff, great location, and excellent breakfast
Westin hotels are generally great and this one is no different. Very clean and comfortable room. Superior linens. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Fitness room has enough machines to stay fit during your stay. For a small fee, they will loan you workout attire for the length of your stay so there is no need to pack it from home.
Overall, guest room was as to be expected at a Westin. Clean and well appointed. Front desk check in confusion quickly corrected. I can not same the same for Sunday Buffet breakfast. What 4 Star hotel serves powdered scrambled eggs ?
My stay at this hotel was wonderful. It is very close to eating and sightseeing, and I had a very clean comfortable room.
Buen hotel pero le faltan mas restaurantes y bares, la ubicación es excelente esta solo a 3 cuadras de la calle pine en donde se encuentran muchos bares y restaurantes.
My daughter had a dance conpetition/convention in Long Beach. The Westin Hotel was less expensive than the host hotel was by far. The only inconvinience was we had to walk to Convetion Center, but the walking distance was less than 10 min. The hotel was gorgeous and the room was fancy and clean. It's even had a Starbucks coffee and a little cooler in the room. We were very happy with this hotel and would recommend it to anyone!
Good side: the staff could not have been more accommodating. Bad side: food is way over priced and would like to get a reasonable cup of coffee in the lobby. The check-in procedure could have included the mention of the Free Passport bus that I found to be very convenient from the hotel. That is a big plus!
enjoyed our stay. nothing spectacular though. I guess that means good.
Other than the rude check in clerk (she wanted to give us a room with two double beds but luckily we had our confirmation on our cell phones which indicated 1K bed. She argued the situation and then resentfully gave us the king bed but requested us to send her a copy of the confirmation) the stay was more than we had expected. One area we were a little disappointed in was that there wasn't an inhouse coffee dispinsery, you had to go into the cafe and it was a bit awk to get a coffee to go.
The staff, except for the valet parking attendants, were not eager to help. Found it deplorable that guest had to pay for parking that should have naturally been applied to room. The beds were heaven but . could not eat in the room comfortably. lacked the proper set-up, one chair.
The beds at the Westin Chain are the best! Very comfortable and clean. Paid $10 extra for a partial ocean view that was nice, but you had to look between two buildings to see the water. The room size and layout were good and the bath room was also pretty cool, as it has two shower heads (high & low) over all I'd stay again, but not at the same price ($217.00 with taxes & fees, plus $18.00 parking) expensive nights sleep.
