Great experience even though it was for one night. The shuttle service is very helpful to LGB airport and anywhere within a 3-mile radius of the hotel

The hotel was not clean. We had hair on the towels and on the floor and a q-tip on the floor. The keurig did not work, in the room. The breakfast was not good.

It was a very nice hotel, great food, and free shuttle to cruise terminal.

Okay with it just would have liked the king size bed like I paid for and not two beds.

That part was bad could not accommodate us with a rollaway bed my daughter slept on the floor

The only bad thing there is nothing fun to do around the area that you can just walk

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is very practical

Needs to improve parking situation and working coffee pots in rooms

It was close to my Families Event. Room smelled musty but Overall it was ok.

I had a lovely time. I just didn't enjoy paying extra for the parking.

Great location, great shuttle service, nice staff!

Nice room and bed. But no free breakfast and charge $10 a day for parking, both of which will always put me offside!

We were in town for a convention. My employee stayed out later than I did; when he returned his room key did not work. He immediately went down to front desk and asked for his key to be reset. They told him that his key was not registered to any room and that since his name was not the one that booked the room, they could not give him a new key. On the surface of it, they manager may have followed proper protocal. My employee tried calling me in the room, however, I did not awake. I feel, since there was in fact a security guard on duty, a staff member could have came up to our room and knocked on the door, or simply escorted my employee to the room and made sure all was okay. Especially, since I did not answer the phone. Instead, my employee spent over half of his night sleeping on a couch in the corner of the lobby. I am not happy how this was handled by the night manager and I did inform the day manager upon check out. His only response was an apology and that he would have to talk to his staff about the situation.

The hotel is under major construction which no one informed us of. Construction tarps hanging everywhere, the gym is relocated in an actual room, all of the floors are ripped up to bare concrete even on the 4th floor, and huge gaps along the room door so noises are very loud throughout the night. We only managed a couple of hours of sleep.

Basic is basic and nothing more. Was bit disappointed that breakfast was an additional $10 per person when it's usually free.

We checked in expecting it to be nice , however, it wasn't as nice as the pictures seemed to be. The first thing I noticed was the worn carpet in the hallways, and then when we opened the door to our room, we got a heavy smell of cigarette smoke. We sat in the room trying to decide do we take a chance on another room here being the same or do we find another hotel. After viewing out the back window only to see how bad the neighborhood is, we quickly made reservations elsewhere. We went back downstairs to check out after being there only 20 minutes. The staff at the front desk didn't even ask why I was checking out or how was my stay or if they could do anything, they just said have a nice day your already pre-paid! I had to inform them of the smoke issue in the room. They didn't even care.

We were uograded to a room witha refrigirator microwave with a King size bed. We had a pull out bed added. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel was clean and employees were very nice and helpful. We were not from the area, so they suggested a great restaurant in which the shuttle could take us and we did not have to drive. Fantastic!

I stayed by myself, for a week, visiting a sick friend in LB. The location was central to my needs: not far from the airport, and not far from my friend's house. My room was clean and comfortable, and all the staff (including the restaurant wait staff) were friendly and helpful. When I return to LB, I will definitely stay there again.

the building is a bit on the 70's feeling when you enter the lobby and all the way to the room. I was thinking, man did I make the right decision? As i walked into the room, there I noticed new carpet, new tile floors in the bathroom, a nice LCD tv,(I expected a huge tube) and the most comfortable bed i have had in a hotel. The location was within minutes of the Longbeach Expo. The only problem was the hot & cold valves were switched on the bath sink, interesting tooth brushing experience.
