Internet is very bad. Had to walk either to the office or sit outside office for wifi to work. Makes it very difficult to work. Employees were very good at front desk. Did have us check another room trying to help with wifi. So thank you to them. But owners of this property have to do something. Couldn’t do anything g with internet.

Very close to the freeway, gas station and food options nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Shower has nice water pressure. No shampoo provided, but hand soap.

The property i stayed at was not worth the money charged. Parking and space became extremely limited once ALL big rig work trucks decided to block nearly of the lot, making it impossible to turn around normally or park comfortably, the rooms all sides of me fought screamed and threw things until all hours, my tv remote was not programmed and I could not control the tv nor turn it off, I brought it to connnors attention and mantinenfe never showed, the front desk couldn’t get to the soap and shampoo because it was locked, the room had no fan or AC or heat. I know it’s a motel 6- but still disappointed

I chose Thousand Oaks bcz community is very affluent however did not expect the motel 6 to be in such poor condition. The pictures online look great but the room I stayed in 131 was in very run down and poor condition. I was in town on business so just slept there mostly but if your on vacation or business you probably should just spend the extra cash and stay somewhere else. Was also very noisy lots of traffic and big utility trucks taking up all the parking spaces in the parking lot. Seem like lots of families living there which is ok I guess a community should take care of their own but again not a place to stay for vacation or business. Needs more work to match those nice pictures online :/

Nice hotel!

Good clean hotel in a good location. There was no vending machine available when we checked after 10pm so had to drive to a nearby store for a bottle of water. The AC was a centealized and had a old school crank kind.

I booked a non- smoking room based on Expedia reviews that this place was “good”. We were visiting Cal Lutheran. It was so bad and toxic we ended up leaving and staying at Fairview Inn / Moorpark which was excellent This motel 6 has a former drug den vibe/ odor. Our “non-smoking” “remodeled room”reeked of smoke. Or something toxic. Even the bedding. Within 10 minutes my eyes and skin were burning. My daughter’s eyes were burning. Here’s the thing, can you really remodel a motel that was, like, a meth mobile? I will confidently answer that: NO. I had trouble breathing. They also allow cats and dogs in their rooms and there are people living at this motel. We left and found Fairview/ Moorpark. Motel six did not refund our money back. The motel owners said that because I had already checked in. Expedia was like, “shrug, sorry”. Not only will I never stay at a place labeled as “good” on Expedia, I will never use Expedia again when I can get the same deal directly through the hotels. Crap place. The front desk dudes were nice though. My message to those guys: get out now. If you work there? Run. If you own this place? Demolish it and start fresh. It’s a money pity. Toxins are leaking out of the walls here.
