The check in staff was very warm, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The only issue was that the heater worked too well in my room. I had to turn the thermostat down to 60 just to be somewhat comfortable while sleeping. I did not try the breakfast so I can’t speak to it. The building is old but the rooms have been refurbished and updated. The wallpaper in the hallways could use some attention. Some of the seams are coming apart which makes it look unkempt. Otherwise they seem to have done a good job of updating the property. And the rate could not be beat! I would definitely stay there again if I found myself in town and needed lodging, as long as they have kept up their standards!
