Stayed here for two nights with my partner for Valentines Day, we was not disappointed when we got to the hotel we loved the modern decor and the homely feel. When we arrived to the reception I was greeted by a lovely lady (not sure on name) was not in time for a parking space so she guided me to one next door (£15 for 24 hours)!! The suite was amazing and we had a spectacular view of the wheel it looked so nice at night time, breakfast was ok not much choice in the hot section for a halal eater. The following day I asked the man at reception if there was parking spaces and finally space was available! It was for £13 for 24 hours, I got asked to write my car reg, name etc i then gave the paper back and was told That was all needed and I could proceed to park there. When I got to the car park I was never informed that I needed my key to get in other cars were behind me which was a little embarrassing! I then rang the hotel and they told me what should have been done. A nice gentleman that was also staying at the hotel let me in. When I went to the reception I was told ‘I just disappeared’ that’s why my key was not swiped I should of been told to wait! How was I to no!? I was obviously judged by my age and not taken seriously. Overall I LOVED the suite and was very sad to come home! Thank you to the staff I met that HAD manners and always had a smile. I would 100% stay again.
Just back from the Script concert at the Echo Arena which is right opposite these Suites. The staff were so pleasant and accommodating. The Suite we had on the top floor had a fabulous view of the Echo & the wheel. Very large room with a lovely kitchen area all open plan with a large sofa & TV . The whole place was absolutely spotless. They have a bar downstairs which doubles up as a breakfast room. The breakfast was lovely the food was so fresh & such a relaxed atmosphere. Could not fault anything we will definitely be staying here again & again.
We stayed in the Staybridge on Sunday 11th February - we had 2 rooms as I was staying with my daughter - we arrived at the hotel at 12 but this was too early to check in so my daughter asked if we could park the car which we could the reception staff were really helpful a great start to the stay - on check in the rooms were next to each other which were great - very clean and modern with the added bonus of dishwasher microwave sink fridge plates glasses etc - breakfast the next day was pleasant with quiet a variety of choices would definitely stop here again
A boutique hotel to stay, besides of you need to bring your own flipflop and month cleansing kits, everything there are great to let you stay long even for long term stay. Especially the kitchen, good to buy food and cook by yourself. Clean and cosy with very nice view. Very convenience location to most tourist visiting points. Decent breakfast. Good internal air control for warm air with goos air flow indoor. Worth to try.
Went for a birthday weekend with himself, who has stayed here for work and rated it. He’s an IHG Platinum member with high standards. The Suites is central, easy to find and really convenient to go on the Echo wheel or the Mersey Ferry (when you’re not in the shops at Liverpool One, that is). Sadly, it get off to the best start. After a 200 mile drive we arrived late at night to find there wasn’t ANY parking underneath the suites. Not best pleased as this meant trolling in the wind and rain to find some random external car park. It appears that the fairly recent fire in what is the multi storey car park right next door, has mucked up their ability to put guests in theirs or the very nearest car park. When it was pointed out to one member of staff that one of us had stayed here before and got free parking, they disputed the truth of the matter, which came across as both arrogant and accusing a guest of lying. Luckily, a more senior member of staff stepped in and although we could not park there that evening, a, ranged for us to have parking on site the next night, and as it was a birthday, heave us complimentary wine and chocolate in the room the next day, which was much appreciated. That hiccup aside, and after a couple large drinks, we found the Suites to be very good indeed. The bedrooms are like little self contained appartments. Clean, surprisingly well equipped - combi oven, fridge, induction hob, dishwasher and all the crockery, utensils, pans etc you could want in the mini kitchen. There is quite an extensive mini tray to get you going with the tea and coffee. The bathroom is beautifully clean, big towels and big pump dispensers of nice quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash are yours to use if you’ve forgotten yours. Hot water and plenty of it. The bed is big and really comfy. We have an expensive bed at home and it was at least as good quality as that. In fact, I don’t think I’ve had such a good bed in a hotel before, so slept well. It’s surprisingly quiet at night, with the only sounds being the occasional gust of wind between the Suites and the nearest building ( other multi storey car park). I could easily live here for the week if I worked up here. The breakfast next day was really really good. Usual full English (the eggs and potatoes are done in different styles on different days, so you get mini omelettes one day, scrambled the next, or hash browns and then fried potatoes etc), plenty of cereals, dried fruits, dried bananas, granola etc, an entire fridge full of different sorts of milks, cartons of juice, water etc tmwhich you just help yourself. Tea and coffee can be wither instant style or they have a great machine that grinds fresh beans for cappuccino, latte, espresso etc. The usual toasts, breads, croissants, bagels and muffins are there to have and yogurt and cherry compote too. There was a small platter of ham, cheese and fresh tomatoes, together with cut it yourself French sticks, baguettes and whole cobs and artisan loaves. There are jams, spreads, peanut butter, Nutella etc and tomato, brown sauce and mustards along the walls for,you to take as much as you want. I was talking to one of the ladies there who said she loved working there, which was a good endorsement I think. The staff are constantly discretely clearing, replenishing and cleaning the entire area and all the guests put back the jars and condiments for others to use, which is nice. Overall I was Impressed with the Suites and would easily stay there again - maybe checking out the parkxing first.
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Stalybridge suites in Liverpool. This boutique style hotel, immediately opposite the big wheel and echo arena, offers guests a comfortable stay with great public areas, free coffee and free WiFi. Complimentary breakfast and gym on site. Rooms are spacious with a lovely kitchenette. If you're feeling adventurous, you can follow one of the delicious recipes ( picking up all of the ingrediants from the pantry next to reception). Have stayed in many hotels on Liverpool over the years but this this takes some beating. A real gem.
Stayed overnight on a Wednesday , booked into see a show at the arena, great place to stay, car park, shop etc. On the Wednesday night we were offered drinks and nibbles complimentary, also included breakfast.
When you travel with your work, you do get used to hotels being the same, often good but similar and formal. The Staybridge suites offers the traveler something different. I really enjoyed the choice of being able to cook/eat in the suite or go out and eat with colleagues. The relaxed friendly surroundings let the traveler unwind with a good choice for breakfast. There was even a launderette area if you had some emergency washing to take care of. I will definitely look for more of the same type of accommodation.
Stayed here for one night in February and what a nice surprise we had. We were in a suite on 6th floor. Plenty of space in lounge and kitchen area, bedroom was large with excellent wardrobe space, bathroom perfect. To be honest didn't really need a suite for a one night stay as we were off to a concert at the Philharmonic an hour after we arrived, but it was nice to come back to. The whole atmosphere was totally relaxing, even for a one night stay, I should imagine it would be even more so for long term stayers. We obviously didn't use all the facilities available, gym, free laundry room etc.,but would do on a longer stay. Breakfast was really laid back, no rush for tables, plenty of choice, fruit and juices, cereals, cooked breakfasts, decent coffee even though it was from a machine, the beans were ground to order - nice. In the reception, there are fridges containing ready meals and a selection of drinks - perfect for the working person who comes in late and doesn't want to go out to eat. All in all a totally different type of stay from the normal run of the mill hotel but really relaxing. A lady we spoke to in the lift even told us she had stayed at the Pullman Hotel across the way and would never go back there after finding this gem of a place.
The room was large and clean and modern. The hotel was great for a city break. Breakfast was good. There was no noise but nothing was on at the arena. The photos on here are pretty accurate of the rooms. One of the best hotels I've stayed in. No negative points
