Visited here upon returning from holiday before flying home. We were on a early flight the day before and arrived before "official check in time". We got to the desk and said we would like to check in, the young grumpy woman said no you can't can I help in other way, we answered we want to check in! After all it technically is a airport hotel. So in the end she took our bags and all of us being tired went into town. The dinner menu was very British and clearly not fresh food. At breakfast it was chaotically busy. Someone had put something in the toaster that caught fire and the restaurant staff were dealing with it great, but then the eccentric young reception woman appears when the other staff were dealing with it just fine shouting at her staff "what is it about people and doing this!!!" She is clearly a interfering and eccentric woman who wants to be part of everything! I will not be returning to this shocking hotel!!!

Perfect place to stay after arriving at airport at 11pm - literally across the road. A really big, clean room and bathroom. Family room has sofa bed which is really comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with lots of hot and cold choices. Helpful staff too.

The greatest thing about this hotel is its location. It is right opposite the airport, so you just need to cross the street to be at the departures' terminal. Ideal if you have an early flight in the morning. It is located on the top of a multi-storey car park. You can park your car for free on the fifth floor. The rooms are large, modern and clean, with a minimalist touch. We had a triple room with a king size bed and a pull-out bed. The pull-out bed was very uncomfortable. The springs were too loose and your feet are higher than your head. It made weird cracks when you turned around. It was a nightmare sleeping in it. That's why the 3 stars review, otherwise it would have been 4. They start serving breakfast at 4am. Being a hotel for early travelers, it'd be better to start serving at 3am. We missed breakfast because our flight was at 6am. On the ground floor there is a restaurant where you can have dinner until 10pm.

Stayed overnight due to early morning flight from John Lennon Airport. You cannot beat the location of this Hotel it is literally accross the road from the airport terminal . The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downside is probably the cost of the food and drink its quite expensive for waht you get. I would definately use this hotel again if i had a cheap flight out from Liverpool

We booked this hotel on our return form Nice as the flight was delayed and we didn't wish to drive home to Middlesbrough late at night. We chose well. It is just a couple of minutes from the airport yet totally quiet. We received such a warm welcome from the local Liverpool staff. How good to see local people on front of desk, with good banter and genuinely interested in us. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine at a good price and good quality fast food Pizza. The room was excellent. Spacious, in good decorative order, neat and clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was buffet style, adequate, no worse than any other budget hotel breakfast. Free wifi was good.

Worst customer service ever and vile food. Friend booked for me as I was travelling alone with two special needs children. We believed I was booked into hotel carpark. Upon checking in I was told to move car to long stay car park. I explained I didn't have my son's wheelchair with us as we were using airport's in morning. I explained I would have to leave two young,vulnerable children on their own ( as son could not walk back from carpark) and was shown no empathy or assistance whatsoever from young woman on reception who coldly told me the carpark would be soon full if they let everyone park there. I was frantic. So sorted myself out and then went for tea. See photos of "lasagnes" myself and daughter were handed. Absolutely disgusting. I asked to see the manager to complain and was told she was too busy to see me. I was given a refund. Then had to go to airport for cold sandwiches!. Bed was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. Well I should say lie in as I didn't sleep a wink. Springs sticking in me everywhere. Checked out and man on reception didn't even lift his head to ask anything. Worst place I've ever stayed.

My spouse and I, together with our adult daughter, enjoyed our two-night stay at this Hampton. Liverpool proved a most enjoyable venue as a whole, and this hotel was just fine for our lodging purposes. Clean and comfortable throughout. The only issue which existed was our initial access to the hotel grounds. Very confusing; our Uber driver was completely baffled. Later, we took Village Cab to and from, and the several cabbies we had with them were completely knowledgeable of the drop-off process (which involves the driver bringing one through the parking garage up to the drop-off location outside the main entry door, which is at an upper level of the garage).

Can't fault location if you are using airport. Free secure parking. We had room with 2 double beds as booked as a family and this was really big. Beds not the comfiest but slept ok. Great choice of breakfast items although not enough seating available. Would recommend and use again.

As always, found this hotel to be up to its usual fabulous standards. Service was brilliant as usual especially Steven the Chef who was really friendly and helpful and made my daughter the most amazing waffles at breakfast. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is an excellent hotel in a most unusual, yet convenient location. Literally across the road from Liverpool John Lennon Airport, it is situated on top of the main multi-storey car park. The elevated position means that the rooms are quiet and all have views of the airport runway, which might add a bit to the pre-trip excitement! Staff are pleasant and efficient and the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Very comfortable bed too. I've stayed here a couple of times before and can't recommend it highly enough for quality, value for money and absolute convenience.
