The TV doesn’t turn “off-off”. It had a glare all night that bothered me since I want things pitch black. Also the air conditioning was not working properly. I turned it down to 65 all night and the coolest it felt was maybe 72 degrees. I’m a cool sleeper so it wasn’t the most comfortable. It was clean though. 3/5 stars
Front desk was very friendly! Guest room was very comfortable!
Excellent room and restaurant. Loved the bartender
We like everything about this property! Location - rooms - food! ALL OF IT! That's why we stay here at least 4 times a year!
The outside of the hotel and the lobby are very appealing, and thats where it ends. For the price I expectes alot more. Upon entry to the room it smelled damp. I then realized that the rooms are not equipped with a refrigerator or microwave. I had just got done driving for 3 hours, and my mom drove for 7 hours so of course we wanted to shower. I went first and was annoyed to also find that the tub drained very slowly! I might have well have taken a bath. After the shower I wanted to lay down and relax before the event I needed to attend, but of course the bed was broken. I called the front desk and the accomodated us with another room. So we packed up abd trotted down the hall. This next room did not have the damp smell and was obviously freshly cleaned BUT of course there weren't any towels. On our way out to the event I stopped at the front desk to let them know that our room needed towels so that we would have them handy when we got back. Two and a half hours later we got back to the room, still no towels. I called to let them know AGAIN that we needed towels, and an hour later they finally arrived. I paid this price expecting the comfort that should come along with it, but that did not happen. They need to knock the price down by half if this is the way they will continue to operate. I am glad I only had to spend one night here or I would have most definitely left and found another option.
Enjoyed the pool and fitness area. Nice bar and banquet food was good .
Nicer than your typical hotel at this price range. It seems like the pricier you get the more amenities they start removing. We stayed on the Executive Floor and it included free breakfast. They had a room with some free fruit and my wife went and grabbed some fruit a few times. The interior is nice with the open space, lighting, and swimming pool. Overall, a nice hotel.
Old, you can tell by the black mold around the edges of the walls and ceilings in the bathroom, that the hotel needs a bit of T L C. And for a Crown Plaza, you would expect them to be a bit more thoughtful about little details. For example, its not nice you have to hold the toilet roll, get a holder installed! If we use one bottle of shampoo, replace it. If we are a family of four, put in extra towels. If you have an indoor pool, don't run the AC like the south pole. Overall, for the name and reputation, this Crown was no jewel.
We had a great check--in experience and an upgrade to the executive floor, enjoying some extra amenities. It went a bit downhill from there, mostly because of housekeeping. Our room had a lamp without a light and a layer of dust covering bathroom shelves. I used the fitness center, and the mirrors and floors were filthy. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a week. I was planning to give this feedback at check-out but no one was at the desk. When the clerk finally arrived he was in a rush and didn't ask how my stay was so I gave up.
I really enjoyed the sleep packet that was left on the bed. I slept like a baby. Thanks
we were excited to stay here. When we arrived we didn't get a hello, how can I help you,or we will be right with you. ONE man was answering a phone call when we approached the counter. This was really understanderable. HE at least gave us a smile. The gentleman that waited on us didn't say anything untill he told us what room would be staying in and how to get there. I had to initiate the beginning conversation. I prebooked the room based on the reviews and how close it was to our destination. besides the unemotional and unfriendly front desk male clerk, Our room was warmer that 67 that we had it set on. it had to be at least 71 or 72. THE bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. i wished it had a refrigerator tho. We ate in the resturant the bar attendant was very nice and the food was delicious. My son loved the heated pool.Would we stay here again? It wouldn't be our first or second choice.
Stayed at this hotel on New Years Eve 2011. Hotel is in a nice location. Lobby and amenities are beautiful. Room was good. Bathroom needed some cleaning - left toilettries from prior guests and someone's weave ( Yuck). Took a while to get through to Room service but it was NYE. Food was good.
The room was very comfortable. But not a lot of parking.
Very nice room. Clean inside and out. The room was very quiet. This is our favorite place to stay in LR. Close to many nice places to eat and explore. Easy access to the interstate.
Overall pleasant stay. Free WiFi, parking and indoor pool. Lots of eateries in the vicinity.
Great Hotel. Very Clean really good service and friendly staff. Great place to stay for the price.
