7 night stay, and will be returning again. The ease of access to both metro stop (right across the street) and to the one stop shop that is el Corte Ingles for all of the things I forgot I needed (hairbrushes, nylons, etc.) was the initial draw, but the prompt and friendly service by Antonio at the bar and the front desk staff as well has me looking forward to spending my last night in Portugal here. Definitely speak with the concierge if you are unsure of what to do or see or eat-- he had several fantastic recommendations for us and I'm remiss in forgetting his name after excellent service.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk to the commercial center and metro station. The rooms are equipped enough to spend there a couple of days. The breakfast is tasty, the service is good. Regards to the Chief Barman.

An average 'size' hotel in a nice neighbourhood, 250 mtrs from the underground metro which takes you in 10 minutes to the heart of the city-centre. Clean entrance, friendly helpfull staff. Nice room with absolute king-size-bed! 10-out-of-10! Compact showerroom and lots of storage space. Well-equiped minibar, large work/writingdesk and quite a nice flatscreen. The breakfast is nice although the plates are smaller the the one you get with your coffeecup. Ah well, you just have to go 5 times to the buffet ;-))

Stayed here for 4 nights. Great location, on the metro stop sao Sebastian which leads to the airport and also to the centre of Lisbon. We arrived later than check in time ended -midnight. but had emailed hotel beforehand and was fine. Breakfast was very busy, not enough tables for number of guests. The breakfast itself was okay, some parts slightly weird like chilli beans and the watery juice which had millions of floatys in it. Tried to order a bottle of cold water at the bar and after waiting about 40 mins was told they didn't have any. However, the Pool side bar service was great, and the pool itself was lovely to sit around. Room 610 was nice, twin room, smaller than anticipated but fresh bedding and towels every day. Local restaurants were nice.

Stayed for 4 days in April - hotel was brilliant. Always clean and well kept, the rooftop pool is fantastic (although it is very cold - even with a full day's sun bearing down). The room was pleasant; we tried the breakfast one morning but found this to be overpriced, there is a fantastic bakery/cafe on the corner of the street for breakfast. The main attraction of this hotel was the pool; I would thoroughly recommend a stay here

Stayed at this hotel with a group of friends recently. It is a nice clean hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Check-in was smooth and hassle free. The only down side is the room was small and had two single beds put together to make a double. The hotel has a rooftop pool, it was nice and clean. The hotel is 5-10 minutes from the main nightlife area. Wifi was good in all hotel areas and the barman made a really good Pina Colada.

Stopped here on the 19th March for for nights and found it to be an excellent choice. Fantastic links to all the best places in Lisbon as the metro is right across the street. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff were very friendly, especially the bar staff. It's an ideal place to stop and very reasonably priced aswell. It also has a well kept pool and nice sauna for good measure.

This hotel boasts a bar but unfortunately they don't seem to have a barman. Waited about 20 minutes for someone to appear but gave up and went next door to what became our local! Hotel Principe Lisbon has a great bar, a very competent barman and we spent many a happy hour there. Other than that, the hotel is ok but all rooms are not the same even if you pay the same price. My friend and I booked single rooms but mine was much bigger, had a chair and a standalone shower rather than shower over the bath. Although the seal on the shower door meant the floor flooded so had to use several towels to soak up water. The room was very dark and there were a few electrical issues too, missing bulbs and a socket literally hanging out of the wall. No point complaining. We told reception on day one that a wardrobe door wouldn't open and nothing was done about it. The TV channels were better in my room and my friend could only get CNN besides the Portuguese channels. Breakfast was ok, coffee was nice, but the 'cooked breakfast' was only ever luke warm at best. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable and rooms very well cleaned everyday. The hotel is right next to a metro station and therefore very handy for getting about, a few minutes from El Corte Ingles and very close to some great restaurants.

This very good 3 star hotel is located opposite an exit from the S. Sebastiao Metro station at the end of the line from the airport. This station also serves a line going to tourist areas. Avenida Duque de Avila has numerous cafes and restaurants which is good for evening meals. Our impressions of the hotel were good: an elegant entrance lobby, a comfortable bedroom and a nice breakfast room where a buffet breakfast with a wide range of hot and cold food was served. Staff on reception were very helpful, room cleaning was excellent. It would be nice to have a hotel of this quality at this price in London!

There were a number of things that made me smile whenever I think about this hotel! The staff were always smiling and always willing to assist us. Understood English well. The room was big and comfortable. Warm and inviting! The bathroom was big too. Plenty of space and always clean while the amenities replenished when ever needed! Beds comfortable and pillows were up to my standards for a change (not too soft). Breakfast was good. They even changed some of the warm dishes a couple of times during my stay. Bread exceptional and always fresh. Coffee was average though. Location great as is close to metro station!
