Lovely apartment in great neighbourhood

The three of us stayed 5 nights here: the apartment was a lovely combination of historic details with modern conveniences, and a wonderful courtyard balcony. The kitchen is small, but was adequate for our basic breakfast needs. The host, Joao, was very friendly, making sure to meet us and say goodbye. The area is excellent: lots of historic streets, shops, restaurants, and enough off the beaten path that it was quiet. The only issue I could see was that in the second bedroom, the single beds are quite narrow, so they might not suit all guests. Overall the apartment is a gem: clean, bright, and very inviting.
