Visited November with friends for a weekend. A small and friendly hotel with bar serving bar food although a limited menu The hotel is situated opposite the underground entrance on the red line, from the airport which is approx 20 minutes journey and to the town centre approx 12 minutes. There are restaurants and bars nearby as well as a local supermarket. Lidl a bit further away. The hotel has a roof pool and the breakfast buffet in the morning which was plentiful and a good selection. The staff all spoke perfect English and were helpful and friendly. They were all good but a special mention to David for his recommendations. The rooms were well maintained and spotless and very modern with the underground right outside and a cheap 24 hour travel card 6 Euro you could get anywhere very quickly A fantastic place to stay when visiting Lisbon and with roof top pool {not heated)l you won't go far wrong.

For the first few days the room was too cold as air con is controlled by reception. Then as soon as the temperature hit 40 all of a sudden we had no air con. We had to ring reception several times a day as well as through the night to get it switched back on. This made it very uncomfortable to stay in the room. Breakfast selection was poor with little variation from day to day. I asked one morning for a boiled egg instead of scrambled & was told not today. It didn't change during our 6 night stay. There wasn't much fresh fruit on offer either. The hotel wasn't cheap either at over £100 per night so would have expected more. The pool was good if a little small. Definitely a must in the city heat but it was too small to cope with the number of guests. Limited number of sun beds around the pool. Difficult to get served at cafe bar in hotel during the day. It was easier to get served by ringing from the pool area although not ideal given the lack of seating. Could be doing with staff in pool area to deal with lager louts. On one of the days we ordered a Caesar salad and the croutons were replaced by sweetcorn. We weren't told in advance & ended up picking them out as didn't like. Didn't have this problem when ordered previously. The rooms itself was roomy enough, the beds were comfortable & had a decent shower. Towels were changed regularly & room cleaned daily. Good efficient laundry service door to door. Location of hotel, last stop on metro line but close to El Corte Ingles shopping centre. Overall disappointed with this hotel given the price we paid & would not really recommend.

An excellent hotel. We had a suite which was an unexpected surprise. Excellent location for both airport and links into city centre. Lovely roof top pool. Breakfast was good if a little cramped. Very helpful reception.

Stayed in this hotel for 3 nites Lovely hotel clean room, large selection of options for breakfast coffee was great roof top pool lovely as the weather was v hot 39 degrees great location as ideal for metro great way to visit city sights

The best thing about this hotel is the location - you're literally across the street from the metro, and in a nice neighborhood of shops and restaurants. Also, some of the staff (especially Antonio in the bar) are terrific and will do whatever they can to make your stay nicer. That being said, the hotel is a charmless businessman's hotel, the rooms are small, and the breakfast is adequate but unexciting. We were highly amused by the sign in our room telling us about the complimentary coffee and tea, since there was not only no coffee and tea, there was no coffee maker or teapot either. We were less amused when if failed to materialize after we mentioned it to the desk for the remainder of our stay ... housekeeping also spotty, room never really felt clean. All in all, wouldn't stay there again - would look for a nicer place in the same area.

I stayed in this hotel for three nights. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good that was included. Had significant difficulty with the AC but the staff tried to help but still quite warm. Again I would like to emphasize that the staff was very attentive which is a definite plus when traveling internationally.

Let's start with the necessity.... this hotel is right dead centre Lisbon... that means not right in the middle of the tourist areas like Baixa and Bairro Alto...I mean dead centre. Airport to the hotel? Take the only metro route available from the airport and get off at sebastio. Hotel is next to the exit (5 metres if you find the exit marked duque d'avila... it's safer to wander inside the metro exit labyrinth to find it)...or get off at saldandha... but when you exit the station it's 10 mins walk... so take a map print of the two stations so you know which exit you came out of... all streets are named on the corners so you can't get drastically lost.. if at all. Now... sebastio station takes you directly to everything. The airport, rail station (oriente), and Baixa. From here there's restaurants everywhere, or walk to bairro alto (5 min) staying on close streets to rua de rose for late bars that get busy around 11pm... during the day... same stop, you can wander up the hill or take the tram to the oldest area... Alfamo and the castle. Trust me, it's better to hike it rather than take the tram. Metro closes at 1 am... doesn't matter which station you enter. Once yr in, yr in.... now.... hotel San Reno... don't expect amazement... but it's good enough. Lovely non busy pool on the roof. Spacious Aircon rooms... cheap mini bar too...breakfast is more of a puzzle than a good start to the day but adequate... just not really much to get you animated. Hotel itself is great. Very very friendly. What's more, there's a decent bar over the road if you head home just a little early. It's open until 2am.

We stayed here the first week of September and had a very nice stay. We were greeted and checked in a timely and professional manner. Our room while a little small was comfortable with a nice double bed, LCD tv, safe, and the bathroom was large with great hot water, rainfall shower head, and lots of pressure. The room was kept spotless daily and the sheets and towels were always clean and fresh. The lobby is large and comfortable to sit in and plan your day. Wifi is strong and free thought the hotel. The pool is excellent and a welcome relief after a long day exploring Lisbon. There's a sauna that is hot to sooth sore muscles as well. Sometimes you have to wait for a lounge chair. One note, you rent your pool towels at the reception desk for 20 euros each cash but it was refunded when we left and we were given new towels as we wanted them so no problem really. I liked that there is always a cold picture of lemon and mint water in the lobby to quench your thirst after a long day. The buffet breakfast was very good - bacon, eggs, sausages, cheeses, cereals, yogurts, breads, good coffee and espresso and desert treats every day. Nothing like a good breakfast before you head out to explore Lisbon. The hotel is right opposite the Sao Sasbastian metro stop but honestly the Uber prices are very reasonable so we just took uber to our destinations and hiked around after that. Lisbon is very hilly and it is very hot this time of year. There are also a number of very good restaurants close to the hotel that were excellent to eat at just use trip advisor to find them. All in all, we really enjoyed the Sana Reno hotel, we have no major complaints and we would recommend it to anyone and would stay again in the future.

We stayed at Sana Reno for a week in August. A very nice hotel, close to the metro and very quick to get to the centre or around Lisbon. Our rooms were clean and well maintained. Bathrooms lovely. Breakfast plentiful and good quality. The pool on the roof was a real treat after a day going around in the heat. We would be happy to stay here again.

Great hotel. I travelled with 3 friends, we had 2 twin rooms. The friend I shared with is a smoker so I requested a smoking room and I assumed this meant a balcony, I didn't get this but instead we got adjoining rooms with my friends which was a silver lining. Our rooms were spacious, clean and we'll equipped. The mini bar prices are actually quite reasonable too. You can get to the hotel from the airport in 30 mins by metro, we took the red line and got off at sao Sebastian and just a short walk from there. We didn't use the metro again because an uber is only a few euros to get down to town, but the entrance to the metro is on the hotels door stop. The breakfast is adequate. The plates are tiny, but a review I read before going provided a tip...use the saucers from the coffee cups as plates...oddly, they are bigger. There is a great selection of coffees, cereals, breads, juices, and cake (you're on holiday, have cake for breakfast!) And cheese and ham. The pool is small, but clean and quiet. It over looks streets on one side and some of the hotels amenities on the other. The staff ate fantastic! Such lovely people. The reception is a bit dated in style but well maintained, the rooms are modern. The staff member on the bar was also the person doing room service, despite being stretched, he was attentive and friendly. All in all, the hotel matches it's price! Spot on!
