Owner was very easy to work with and her instructions were clear and worked well in checking in with codes & lockbox. The room and private bath was pretty and comfortable. We had a small refrig and a coffee machine and electric teapot with cups. It would have been nice to have a couple of glasses. Thankful for the host’s hospitality

I liked the traditional ambience of the building with its surrounding trees. We booked in here because we could walk to the University (15 mins) where we were to sit an exam next day, starting at 9am. The room was nicely appointed, but I had to get down on my knees to plug the kettle in as there was no socket at tabletop level. We hardly slept because the heater/air conditioning unit was making a strange noise all night, and it was uncomfortably warm. On top of that there was one plane after another roaring in above our heads. Le Jardin is directly under the flight path. We arrived at the exam feeling very fragile!
This is a very well appointed apartment with high quality finishings. The off street parking was very welcome after our previous experience of parking difficulties in Lisbon. The location was also a positive for us, near the airport yet easy access to the city centre. Altogether we would highly recommend this accommodation.
