Great location that is a central hub to a lot of tourist attraction. 10 minutes walk to tram 28 station, to 15E tram station so you can go to belem, to bus station that take you to tile museum, to train station to Sintra, and train station to cascades and ferry. It is a 20 minutes Uber ride from airport. A lot of restaurants nearby that offers variety of cuisine. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and tidy. Pictures tell everything. They have a elevator from 1st floor so you do need to bring your luggage from ground to 1st floor first. The air conditioner works very well and it is absolutely delightful in the summer, especially between 2 to 5 pm. The sun can be scorching hot.

The location is great. Unfortunately there’s no elevator on the first floor so you have to carry your luggage up to the second floor to access the elevator there. We only stayed here two nights and it was fine, but it could use some new towels in the bathroom. Our window looked out directly into the apartment across the street and all we could see was a large old shirtless man smoking cigarettes on his balcony so that was a disappointment.

Great location. Located at the center of the tourist attractions. Bed was so comfy. A couple of mins walk to Baisha-Chiado station. Friendly staff, clean and neat room, ac and water pressure was awesome! The hotel made travelling with a teenager much easier and happier.

Esquina Lodge was a great stay. Some hotel renovations happening, but didn’t impact our stay in any way. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room 23 was newly remodeled with a lovely new bathroom & shower with cold AC. Location to everything in central Lisbon was even better. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer room or location for the money. Would stay again and Highly recommend

It has a unique entrance. Our driver dropped us off at the hotel and the entrance was this very small, dark, crowded doorway. On the hotel door step, 2 men were sitting right in front of the only door, blocking anyone trying to enter or leaving, counting piles of money (super weird). My husband rang the bell to allow us entry, the front desk lady came out, saw the men sitting there and asked them to leave. They left with no incident. The check in was easy and fast, the room was spacious, clean, quiet and in an excellent location. I'm glad we didnt let our first impression influence our stay at this hotel.
