Such an incredible hotel with customer service that goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of their guests. Quiet and comfortable luxury situated in a neighborhood with such a great vibe. They have a spa and small (but well equipped) gym that you can book which made the stay that much better.

The Vitange was a lovely stay for our week-long stay in Lisbon. It’s tucked away in a quieter part of town, but still a half hour downhill walk to the downtown waterfront. There are some amazing Portuguese and international dining options on the way along R. da Escola Politécnica and through Bairro Alto and we enjoyed walking back up hill after dinner for some exercise. Our Deluxe Room on 2nd floor was neatly furnished with 2 beds as we requested and bright, with an open bathroom concept. The only downside of that was the increased humidity so we found ourselves switching between opening the window and turning on AC to get some fresh air in. The restaurant on street level has a good sweet, savory and fresh fruit and yogurt breakfast spread with additional options of freshly cooked eggs, avocado toast, pancakes, açãi bowl, and great cappuccinos. We tried lunch there once too for convenience, but it is a little overpriced and you can get much better value for money in nearby restaurants. The tiny rooftop bar has delightful views while shaded and misted when it’s hot. The gym has only basic equipment (treadmill, spin bike, a few dumbbells and bench, and yoga mats), is impeccably clean and serves one person at a time, so it’s best to reserve in advance. The hotel staff were all consistently lovely and helpful.

Just The right Stay

I wanted a boutique hotel experience in Lisbon and The Vintage delivered. The lighting was a little to dark for me because I was staying by myself and the bed wasn't as comfortable. But over all it was a beautiful hotel

Beautiful hotel, lovely comfortable room, and every member of staff was delightful and really helpful. We had a lovely week at The Vintage, the food, drink, spa facilities and massages were excellent, and the rooftop bar was gorgeous in the sun. Only one thing to note is that there is only a frosted screen (not a lockable door) between the toilet and the bed, so there isn’t complete privacy! This did not affect our stay negatively but thought it was worth a mention if this is very important to you. Overall we feel incredibly lucky and loved our stay at The Vintage!

The Vintage is a great hotel and is well situated was a wander around Lisbon. Fabulous decor creates a relaxed, cool environment. Our room was spacious with everything we needed - and more. The mini bar including gin and tonic was a welcome addition! We especially loved the patio doors. Staff super helpful and attentive. We loved our stay and will recommend this hotel to any visitor to Lisbon.

Over two visits, this has become one of our favorite European hotels. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. Large well-designed and well stocked rooms, a rooftop bar/lunch spot and incredibly good food from the breakfast buffet in. All due to the genuine hospitality at the front desk and dining rooms.
