Convenient and great venue
The property has literally no parking. It’s either Valet or a city parking garage across the street.
Breakfast in the big atrium is great. Bed is comfortable. Otherwise, the property is getting worn down. Needs a refresh.
Hotel is in DESPERATE need of updating. Also fairly dirty. Pool area is run down. Staff is friendly, but sparse.
Embassy Suites in Lincoln is within walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The hotel has a nice gathering area for the free snacks and breakfast.
Karen at the front desk was unbelievable! She took us to the airport because we couldn't get a cab or a lift!

Considering Embasy’s reputation, my initial thoughts are that this stay was rather neutral, vanilla. Staff was great, but over for the cost not impressive room, etc. I will explore other options next time but will consider staying again.
Parking is an issue.
Too much soap left in the laundry and towels. I'm allergic to soap. Made my skin break out. Due to the high humidity the bathroom door in 533 swelled and couldn't be opened fully and the closet door, hung with mirrors was too heavy for the track it rode on. I constantly felt that an accident was imminent. Really it was a nice stay overall, but you wanted to hear the flaws. Doug James
The best part of this property, and why I stayed here, is their amazing breakfast, with made to order omelettes, pancakes, waffles, as well as biscuits and gravy and a variety of other breakfast options. The biggest downside is the rooms are dated and in need of a refresh - the shower is just average and as a 6'1" man, I have to duck down a bit to get the water to hit the top of my head due to the placement of the shower head. All in all, great stay though.
