The room was clean and spacious with many conveniences. There is an ocean view from the lanai. The pool and restaurant/bar area was well maintained and staffed. This is a conveniently located and well-run resort.

The pools are fantastic, along with the poolside bar and grill. Lots of comfortable lounge chairs all around so it’s easy to find a place to relax, enjoy the ocean breeze, and have a bite. Easy beach access, too. Our host was great and the room with the ocean-view balcony was a great place to unwind after each day of sightseeing or sitting by the pool.

Friendly staff, well maintained property, restaurant construction was a bit of a pain with long routes to your room. Pool was also not heated. Breakfast was great dinner was sub par. All in all we will be back

The room needed cleaned better. No hairdryer in the bathroom. And the TV didn’t work until we called for service.. The came immediately.. We loved the restaurant and the entertainment every night!!! The staff was wonderful!!!

Beautiful location

This resort is older and a bit dated but we found it clean, comfortable and absolutely gorgeous! Sunrise every morning on the beach was the best. Partial ocean view from this room. Pool area is fantastic. Nice restaurant on site. Definitely would stay here again.

The atmosphere of this place is amazing. We loved how it was centrally located on the island. Our drives to hike and see things were not too long. I highly recommend this place!

Kauai Beach Resort vacation

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at KBR, the rooms were clean and well kept, food at the restaurants was great and decent sized for the price compared to some other locations on the island. Pools are large and could easily accommodate the guests there without feeling crowded. Great place to stay for a relaxing vacation in the sun, there is an onsite Hertz car rental available if you want to get out and about around Kauai that is very convenient.

Lovely Stay

The property pool and restaurant was very nice. We really enjoyed the pool and having breakfast at the restaurant. The overall property is dated but charming. The room was as described but a little dated. The property manager communicated well and respinded quickly to my emails. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.

Perfect vacation

This resort is perfect for people wanting a central location to explore the island. 30 minutes to drive to both the North and south shores. The resort is clean and has everything needed to relax and stay put as well- several pools, 3 restaurants and sits on miles of walkable beachfront. All of the resort staff was so friendly and helpful. The host was spectacular with timely communication and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Resort retreat

The property is dated but still beautiful. The restaurant was convenient. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were elements of the resort that could use attention but overall it was as stated and we had a wonderful time. Being close to the airport at the end of our trip was a great decision and we caught a last minute seat on a helicopter tour that ended up being a top highlight!

Enjoyable Stay

Liked the location. Property has some age to it, but it was clean and generally well maintained (did have a sticking door latch that had to be oiled twice to get it to work properly while there over course of 6 days). Would liked to have had a microwave in the room. Loved the view from our 2d story deck (ocean and approximately 5 acre grass area that the local birds used heavily. On site restaurant was pricey and fish and chips was bad, but the bar/food by the pools was good.

Wonderful!

We found this place last minute and I’m so happy we did! We planned to spend our 25th Anniversary in Maui but after the fires, we changed our trip to Kauai. We absolutely loved the island and the resort this room is located in. Crystal was so responsive to our questions and even offered us a mid-week cleaning. We hope to be back someday. Thank you!!

Thank you for a great stay

This was our first time to Kauai. What an amazing island. The property is perfectly located to explore the island and close to the airport. So glad we decided to stay here. Unit was great. We are used to having a full kitchen when traveling and I thought I would miss it, but we did not. The fridge is a good size, good food options on property and nearby ( by car). This is the less touristy part of the island and we liked that very much. Thank you Crystal for all your help making this stay great. Planning our next trip already.
